• Tiny rooms, cramped, 1st room was disgusting and smelled, staff was rude.

“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Disgusting, tiny rooms, and discourteous staff. I had a horrible experience.”

• We were supposed to have a non smoking room.

• The location, very friendly when we check-in.
• Breakfast server is so stupid and was always crying about something.

• Good water pressure in shower.
• Room was too small.

“This hotel is tiny! The rooms are no bigger than a twin bed and are ridiculously expensive. If you're staying with more than 2 people, find another hotel! Oh on top of that, the day manager is very rude; she kept rolling her eyes at me when she was checking me in (I was telling her not to put me in a smoking room because I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke).”

• The location of this hotel was great!
• Rooms were small, but as this is NYC, it was about the right size.

“This hotel is a no-frills hotel in the heart of Manhattan. The location is great - very close to the 4, 5, 6 Subway lines.”

• Size of room. Very small.

“I was hoping to get an upgrade to a larger room, but they said none was available. That may or may not be true, but there seemed to be very few people staying at the hotel. I did not run into one other hotel guest during my two days at the hotel. The room was so small, although the bathroom was full size and nice.”

• The only thing I liked about this hotel was that I could leave and never go back.
• Had to change rooms twice. Shower didn't work in any of the rooms I was stuck in. Rude staff.

“By far the worst hotel I have ever seen. Tiny rooms in poor repair. I had to be moved twice in my three night stay, and in none of the three rooms I was given did the shower work beyond a trickle. Two of the three rooms stank so badly of smoke that I had to keep the window open and buy air neutralizer from the pharmacy down the block. Staff was rude and unapologetic, and did not take steps to maintain reasonable noise levels even after other guests caused a disturbance at 2 am. Consider sleeping outside before staying at this pit.”

• Large rooms and very plush bath towels.
• The room wasn't ready at check-in time.

“Good value for the money. The linens and towels were very nice and the included breakfast was satisfying. Overall a great place to stay.”

• Nice lobby.
• Room very small, tried to charge a lot extra for roll-away bed..

“The hotel was clean, but the room was very small. We requested a roll-away bed at reservation time and confirmed the day before arrival, then had to request again at check-in. Following that we waited 3.5 hours for the bed to be brought up, then had to call the desk again. Finally the bed arrived, but could not fit in the room without removing the desk and chair. Staff tried to add an extra undisclosed fee for the roll-away. Housekeeping threw out some of our stuff.”

• Good location on park ave. 10 minute walk to grand central/ times square/ New York air porter back to airports.
• The single room with full size bed was tiny. Very difficult for 2 people to stay there comfortably.

“Hotel lobby was very pleasant, considering it was only a 2 star hotel. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great location near Grand Central. M1 bus stop right outside hotel. Rooms were clean.”

• It was very convenient to my appointment locations.
• No dresser to put my clothes in, no iron or ironing board.

“The hotel is very clean and the staff is pleasant. It is an older hotel that must have had recent updates and improvements. Aside from not having a dresser in which to put my clothes or an ironing board, the place is quite nice. I will stay there again.”

• The location was perfect.
• It was not smoke free. Despite the fact that we did not smoke in our room, it smelled like smoke the whole time.

“I did not enjoy my experience at this hotel. The room smelled like smoke the whole time, despite the fact that we did not smoke in the room. The hotel hallways were very narrow, and the room was in poor condition. The only positive thing about this hotel was the location (very close to NYC attractions).”
