• The staff was very helpful and the location was very good.
• Rooms are extremely small.

“Good location. Very handy to Times Square. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Rooms are quite small and dark. You will only want to sleep here.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location of this hotel was great.
• The rooms were very small.

“The Washington Jefferson is set in a good location and the staff is very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were small, but being as all we did was sleep there, it was ok. I would stay here again.”

• The staff was nice and helpful and it was in a convenient location.
• Bed was hard; rooms were extremely tight, pillows limp, no ice.

“It was extremely convenient; the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was VERY small-we had to stack our suitcases, there was no closet, the bed was hard and the pillows limp. We could not pass each other in the room. The hotel had no ice and that was a problem when my husband needed it at 3am when he had an allergic reaction and his face blew up like a balloon and we needed to bring down swelling.”

• Clean. Great staff. Very good location, on a relatively quiet street, walking distance to main attractions in area.
• Lobby and room were small.

“Overall good experience. Nice, almost boutique-feel to the hotel. Staff was very helpful. Room was small, but adequate for the stay. A/C worked fine.”

• Beds really comfortable and cozy.
• The room was completely tiny and there was no bath in my room.

“Its very close to the metro station which is really helpful and the staff are exceptionally friendly. There is no restaurant in the hotel, not even for coffee, so you need to go out for everything.”

• Staff was great; rooms were clean and updated.
• I booked for sleeping arrangements for 3. Original room was so small we could not sleep there, open bags & move. Had to upgrade to more expense.

“What I received was a room that could not possibly accommodate 3 people with suitcases.”

• Convenient location, attentive, helpful and friendly staff, beautiful sheets and towels.
• bare hallway (not a warm feeling, no carpeting, a bit barren).

“Convenient for our needs of being in the theater district no frills nice perfect for a short stay. Staff was wonderful. So helpful, accommodating and friendly bathroom tiny, felt it could have been updated overall good.”

• Clean, nice staff, nice lobby & restaurant.
• Room was really small.

“This hotel is in a very good location, with a subway nearby, and within walking distance of Rockefeller Center & theaters. We liked the decor and it was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is really small, which was the only drawback of this hotel.”

“The hotel itself was great. My query when searching for hotels was for King Rooms only - not sure where the confusion is but seems that I was mislead to believe I was getting a King.”

• We were in the front of the hotel and it was very noisy.

“It was a nice clean place. Stand up shower and very small room. Had to walk down the block to get coffee. No ice machines. The location was great. Walking distance to everything.”

“Great central location, but room is very small. Don't plan on spending much time in the hotel room - other than sitting/laying on your bed. Not really any space to put your open suitcase. Staff is helpful and rooms are clean.”

• The location is excellent.
• The room was tiny and the "full-size" bed only had access from one side!

“Guess you'd call it "European" - too tiny, no dresser space to unpack. tiny bathroom -no counter space around the sink made it nearly impossible to get ready. Calling it a "double" was a misnomer, unless they meant it literally, as in "double bed" not double occupancy. and, it was a platform bed wedged along the main wall, which meant that we could not even put our suitcases underneath it nor access it from either side! I would not consider this a "hotel" room at all. More of a hostel.”
