“Walls are thinner than most hotels we have stayed in-you can hear other guest very clearly in hallways and other rooms.”

“While this hotel has a great pool and terrific location to all the attractions in Times Square, Broadway, and nearby, it is in desperate need of renovation. It is not worthy of the Sheraton name, it feels more like a Super 8 or other economy hotel. It is obvious that Sheraton has chosen to ignore this property in favor of the plush Sheraton New York directly across the street.”

“The location is excellent if you are going to Broadway shows. The hotel is shabby and not to clean.”

“Star level of 3.5 is too high. Furniture in first room was beat up/poor condition. A large staple in the middle of the room entry left behind. A few hair strands on bathroom floor and tub. I moved to another room on top floor. Condition of the room was a bit better but still showing its age. Took advantage of free breakfast on second day of stay. Convenient location. Lovely staff.”

“The location of this hotel was great! Having stayed at the Sheraton in Key West we were expecting a little more than this hotel had to offer. The bed was very nice, the room was small and the bathroom was awkward and small. The door opened into the bathtub - definitely no room for two and lacked some of the extras that the nicer hotels have (magnifying makeup mirror, higher end blow dryer). Nice television if only the remote worked properly. We met our grown children who stayed in another room on the same floor and they had the same problem with their remote. Although we had a sitting chair in our room - there room did not have one. Additionally, although we requested a higher level floor and an early check-in - neither were available - so I wouldn't expect recognition for any special requests. The desk clerks were friendly - however the concierge left something to be desired - we called down to ask about restaurants that delivered because there was no room service and were told that he would call right back - but never did. After a long day of walking (a great six hour walking tour) - we really just wanted to order room service and relax - you can't do this at this hotel.
There is no room service which was a HUGE disappointment. Only other complaint was the paper thin walls and heavy doors - all night we heard banging and rattling plumbing. Overall this was an average hotel in a great location but nothing special. The next time I would opt to stay in a high rise hotel. This hotel is dwarfed by the much taller hotels available in the area.”

“In my opinion this hotel was not up to a 4 star standard or a typical Sheraton for that matter. Check in was a disaster with lines all across the lobby. Rooms were delayed due to late cleaning. Furnishings in the rooms were old and they had no room service. I never heard of a Sheraton with no room service.”

“The room was clean and comfortable although dated and worn. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Food prices in hotel are very high. In-room internet connection charge is outrageously high; very inconvenient for business travelers.”

“The hotel was great....clean and convenient to the sites in NY. Although the staff at the front desk wasn't overly pleasant, it didn't bother me. They gave me a room on the back side of the Hotel facing the services, but for the money I didn't mind.”

“Everyone made our stay very pleasant. The guys at the concierge desk were fantastic! The bathrooms all over the hotel need a serious face lift!!! Get rid of the mold in the tubs on the silicone.”

“Hotel was no a four star hotel. It is located accross from Sheraton Manhattan so two Sheraton hotels are kiddy corner from eachother. The rooms are worse than a holiday in, old, well used and unclean. I was happy with the location and service though.”

“The room was small, but sufficient for two. Could have been better in the vacuuming and daily room service. The bed was great - large and nice bedding. The tv also was large, so that was nice for those who like to climb into bed and watch some late night tv.”

“After three calls on two different days I gave up on the remote ever working. I was told it would be fixed, but it was not. On my last day I had called down to the front desk explaining that I had a conference call to take that morning for 30 minutes, and asked if they could stop whatever construction their was in the room next door. Nothing was ever done about it, and the noise was so bad I could not take my call.”
