• Long waiting time for elevators.

• Employee Service was excellent for price.
• Plumbing/bathrooms need updating.

“Great location and the employees gave excellent service. For the price I would definitely stay there again. The bathrooms need updating but the rooms were clean. The movie channel didn't work, but we weren't there to watch movies. I would recommend.”

• Beautiful hotel, room and priced right. Close to subways.

“We were very pleased with the Holiday Inn on 57th Ave. Beautiful lobby, restrooms and rooms with all amenities, including soda and ice machines. Great, safe location near subways. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again. Price was very reasonable.”

• The room was nice and big.

“I travel to New York at least six times a year and have had some disappointing experiences with hotels the past few times. This was a really pleasant experience. The room was one of the most spacious I have ever had in NYC and the staff was efficient and nice. A very pleasant experience.”

“Staff is friendly and accommodating. Hotel shows some age in carpeting & wall coverings, beds were comfortable & hotel was generally clean. Internet access was spotty.”

“Close to Central Park and Lincoln Center, less street noise than many, two towers are confusing (odd number rooms in one, even in the other), bathroom sink area was very small, room size was nice for the money.”

• It was close to the activities we wanted to take advantage of.
• No curtins on windows and small room, food/drink very expensive.

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent for walking around town and attending shows. The room only had shear curtains on the windows, so privacy was an issue. The bathrooms were very small and difficult to move around in. Would have liked full size pillows on the bed.”

• It's location, pleasant staff throughout.
• It was somewhat dated and not much variety with restaraunt and could smell cigaret smoke in our non smoking room.

• Staff was very helpful especially concierge. Nice location & close to eatery/stores.
• Our single room had small bathroom & awkward closet access.

“We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Midtown. The location was convenient enough to get out to Times Square & other places, yet it was not so crowded around the immediate neighborhood. On 17th floor we didn't hear sirens or horns (typical in NYC). Their restaurant is not bad -- just basic fare offered. They really need a better computer hook-up for guests. My unit was slow. The cleaning staff was very cordial and respectful. The hotel also looks very nice from the street.”

• Parking is very expensive!

“The hotel was nice; the beds could have been a bit more comfortable. The sheets were clean but the comforter appeared dirty. The location was fabulous, everything is close by! The parking was a valet service that was expensive.”
