  • It was fabulous, except for poor service in the restaurant once.

“It is a very hip hotel, which is noted as such in the Top 10 New York book, which was fun. The concierge was very good. The restaurants, at the hotel and nearby, were all wonderful. The public transportation was right there. Our whole experience at the Tribeca Grand was fantastic!”

  • Great location! wonderful cocktail lounge!
  • Breakfast is quite expensive.

“Great location. 2 minutes walk from the subway station, 5 minutes walk from Chinatown. The staff at the reception was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little bit narrow. The design furniture was not in such a good shape. Amenities include CD player, a selection of music CDs, fax, internet. Breakfast was delicious but quite expensive.”

  • Great New York modern style.
  • Very loud.

“Spectacular new "Ian Schraeger Like" hotel with great food, and larger rooms than the Hudson etc. Staff was great, but watch out for the noise! They have noise cancellation systems in every room but perhaps ours wasn't on "high." Overall great room just a tad noisy.”

  • We asked for a queen or king bed and got a full size bed for 1.

“Everything was great. While totally adequate, it wasn't the luxury we expected, in a bed for 2. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable stay in a very nicely located part of town. The staff was courteous, helpful and welcoming.”

  • Nicely decorated.
  • The rooms overlook a noisy atrium bar. The maid did not replenish the supplies as needed.

“Overall, a nice place to stay. Good social scene at the bar, though with the usual snooty bartender/service you so often find at the "trendier" places. The rooms are nice, the bed was very comfortable and the room was well stocked. I would stay here again.”

  • Brunch and the sterile feeling of the room.

“Stark, stainless steel sinks in the bathroom. Beds on the floor. Rooms use every inch of space kind of like staying in a small cabin on a boat or airplane. Atrium styling is off putting Our brunch was awful. They did take it off the bill though. The staff were helpful and friendly.”

  • Thoughtful details, modern design, classy environment, great service.
  • Even the Holiday Inn has free wireless internet, charge less or nothing for it.

“I loved the Tribeca Grand Hotel. I plan on staying there for all my future visits to New York. The white noise machines in each room made my stay quite and restful. The Bose wave radio was great to have instead of just settling for the noise of the TV.”

  • Amazingly modern, clean, and chic; the staff were very helpful without being snobby
  • Nothing was bad; it was really perfect

“If you are looking for a super-chic, super-new and modern, super upscale NYC hotel in an awesome loaction, look no further than the Tribeca Grand. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful; the bar is a chic NYC hotspot in its own right; and I could spend all day in the gorgeous 8-story atrium lobby. It's a perfect 10.”

  • Great location, great atmosphere
  • Noise level due to trendy hotel bar unacceptable for lower floors.

“Everything about this hotel was perfect, except the noise level from the trendy hotel bar was a little too loud for sound sleeping from midnight - 4pm. I think were we not on the 2nd floor, it might not have bothered us as much. Otherwise excellent hotel, staff was fantastic.”
