“Great location for the financial district. Clean and adequate bathroom and room. Free internet a plus. Room was quiet and comfortable.”

• The location was terrific, just steps from the West Side subway line (2 and 3) and close to other subways.
• Does not have many twin bedded rooms, so unable to travel with a friend.

“I had a very good stay. The one drawback that I hadn't thought about was that it does not have many twin bedded rooms, and apparently there's not enough room to put in a cot, so I was not able to travel with my sister as I had planned. But the staff was very helpful, it seems very secure, the rooms were very clean, and I had a very nice time.”

• I liked that is was so close to the subway.
• The overall room size (and bathroom) were sort of small.

“We had a great experience at this hotel. check in and check out were a breeze. the room was a bit small, but met our needs. complementary bottled water right outside our room was a bonus.”

• Very clean rooms, good size & inexpensive for Manhattan.
• No breakfast room service on Sundays.

“It was very nice - updated, super clean and much larger than what we expected. They're not huge, but they're not as tiny as some reviewers have indicated. The hotel in general is very efficient - very good for business travelers. The hotel staff was excellent. They were friendly and helped us find our way to the subway stations and to local attractions. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that we couldn't get breakfast delivered to our room on Sunday. I think because it's mostly geared for business travelers they only offer this during the weekdays. Still, I would stay here again. I think this hotel is a great value if you are looking for a nice place to crash and don't mind forgoing some minor luxuries.”

• I really loved the location and easy access to nice restaurants.
• Our bed was small, but that was our room, I am sure they have rooms with bigger beds!

• The bedding was very comfortable and the gym very practical.
• The room air conditioner dripped water on carpet but no mildew odor present.

“Well located in downtown area with numerous restaurants and subway near-by. The room was well decorated, Wi-Fi was free, and refrigerator and microwave practical conveniences when staying downtown. The free filtered bottled water was a pleasant surprise.”

• Security.
• The size of the room - way to small.

“The security was great! Check in was very well done with assistance of the staff. I was impressed with the lobby area, but the size of the room lacked a lot to be desired. Way to small for two people. Felt like you were on top of each other. I was traveling with my daughter not a spouse. Not the best accommodations for this situation.”

• I liked the quietness and the security of using a room key to use elevators.
• No breakfast room service on weekends.

“A lovely quiet & mellow place to rest after wonderful busy days. Easy access to the subway and convenient location to key places in Financial District and Downtown.”

“The hotel experience was not up to expectations. The star level did not accurately depict the hotel in terms of service and quality of the room. For example, there was a leak in the AC which lead to a mini flood on the floor. Luckily my lap top was a few inches away and no damage was done. When I reported this incident to the front desk they were not even apologetic about the situation and basically said we will have to send someone up; this did me no good as I was checking out. In adiditon, I had asked for extra towels the day of check-in and the towels were never sent up. Finally there was no window nor vent in the bathroom so when I ran the shower with the bathroom door closed it became a steam room and when you have 90 degree temps outside this is not the optimal option.”

• I liked the fact that this hotel had acsess to floors limited to guest and the location was 1 block from the subway.
• I wish there was more space in the room.

“I feel that overall this was a good value. I felt secure in the room. As a woman with two young children traveling to New York I felt very safe in the area and since I was using the subway this hotel was located less than a block from the the subway station. The staff was friendly and helpful.”
