  • Nice flat screen TV in room.
  • 24 hour outside construction made it impossible to sleep.

“Decent hotel if you don't need to sleep, the noise & vibrations were terrible. did not sleep one wink, even with earplugs”

  • Away from the madness of midtown! Quiet and easy to get to/from uptown NYC.
  • Because of WTC construction, you can sometimes hear noise coming from the site.

“The staff was attentive and professional. The room was exceptionally clean and had a nice non-hotel smell to it. The room was much larger than expected (especially compared to the Grand Central Hyatt!) for Manhattan standards. We stayed on the 41st floor which looked directly onto the WTC site. We could see uptown and the view at night was incredible!”

  • Nice view of east river crossings.
  • Very noisy. Outside is a very busy construction zone.

“A
very noisy experience - very tough to sleep, outside is a very busy construction area.”

  • Great view of Manhattan and surrounding areas.

“Entrance faces previous site of World Trade Center (Ground Zero). Easy access to all forms of transportation and walking distance to some great Lower Manhattan locations. The hotel room was clean, large for a NYC hotel, and had a great aroma.”

  • Great hotel and perfectly located.

“Our stay at the Millennium was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were modern and clean. We had a room at the front of the hotel facing Ground Zero. This was very impressive. The view was still beautiful.”

  • Close to the subway.
  • We were not advised about the 24/7 construction noise.

“The staff was not very up front about the inconvenience due to construction noise nor offered to move us when we mentioned it as a problem.”

  • Met my expectations. Got an upgrade to a better room.
  • Room was somewhat small. Noise outside from construction.

“Overall very good. Would stay there again. Friendly staff. But only one restaurant. Construction noise outside during the day can be an issue. Friendly staff. Good location for lower Manhattan venues. Very good value for what I paid.”

  • Location to transportation, dining, and entertainment.
  • Air conditioner seemed to be running all the time regardless of what the temperature setting was.

“A 3-3.5 star hotel at best. The Millennium Hilton is centrally located in downtown Manhattan and easily accessed by subway service, although during our stay, was occasionally disrupted by construction on several of the lines, requiring us (my wife and I to walk several blocks). The hotel is nicely appointed with large flat screen televisions and has average viewing fare. The rooms are comfortable, even though the air conditioner seemed to stay on or come on despite having changed the thermostat several times. The marble floor and Silestone granite counter top in the bathroom was attractive and complemented the fixtures nicely. The shower curtain, however, was too narrow and allowed water to spray out onto the floor. The hotel is directly across from Ground Zero, and depending on the floor you stay on, may offer a nice view of the construction (if you're interested in watching the progress) or a breathtaking view of the New York skyline. We didn't eat in the restaurant during our most recent stay, although have in the past. The food is fairly pedestrian for having a chef on staff and is clearly over-priced, even for a hotel restaurant in New York (which is a rationale to charge twice what other area restaurants charge). The lobby bar has a nice selection of bourbon, whiskey, and vodka, although also over-priced, even for NYC. Addition of locally brewed beers and spirits would be nice.”

  • The room was beautiful, roomy and immaculate. Great view of downtown NY. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Walking distance to WTC, Wall Street, Battery, PA, etc.
  • There was nothing I didn't like about our hotel. I absolutely loved it.

“The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Especially when asking questions about which subway trains to catch. Cost wise, The Millennium through Priceline was very affordable for NY. The hotel lobby was very stylish and upscale. A bit small, but very nice. Our room was incredibly large. It felt like a suite. The view from our room was spectacular. Ask for a corner room, and you will have an amazing view of downtown NY. I woke up every morning looking out at the NY skyline. Room was very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable.”

  • It was modern, beautiful, perfectly equipped with gym, sauna, pool, business center and is perfectly located with great views.

“The hotel is beautiful. The lobby, bar, restaurant, pool, gym and business center are very modern, clean and attractive to all ages. Me and my husband have enjoyed staying there as if we were at home. The rooms are beautiful, perfectly sized with a great view, modern TV technology and great bathrooms with tub (which is a must for me). I loved the gym area too and using the pool and sauna was an extraordinary experience!”

  • Clean, attractive interior, loved the bedding and down covers and pillows.
  • Room aesthetic was a little bland.

“Great hotel. Clean, spacious room, great amenities. I would definitely recommend.”

  • Clean, comfortable and modern rooms with stunning views.
  • The location - congested area and not central.

“Great stay at this property. Other than the not so great location (next to ground zero and lots of construction in area) I would recommend. The views from my room were stunning ( high flow Worth view of the Hudson and city!”

  • Central to wall street, close to subway.

“This is a very well kept, well located business hotel. Worth the money spent on Priceline.”
