• Friendly staff, beautiful rooms.
• We were on a lower floor; a bit noisy one night (outside noise).

“I'd definitely recommend the Blakely to friends; beautifully appointed suite, cozy atmosphere, very courteous and friendly staff in an excellent location.”

• The space of the rooms.
• My room was very noisy at night; the street below.

“I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff and the room was excellent. I was not impressed with the restaurant. My room was on the back side of the Hotel and over a parking lot and therefore was very loud during the night.”

• Location, location, location.
• The staff was hit and misses.

“The location was perfect for a short weekend getaway. Conveniently located between times square, 5th avenue. And central park, we didn't have to waste time or money taking cabs long distances or figuring out the subway lines. The restaurant staff was very friendly and the food/drinks were excellent quality for the price. The hotel front desk was friendly on the way in, but not so friendly on checking out it was the same person so maybe they were just having a bad day? And last but not least, the room was clean, comfortable and had a high def TV.”

• The comfortable beds, high quality of sheets, cozy room, efficiency kitchenette, bathroom facility and toiletries.
• Price and small elevator and long wait for elevators.

“I liked the location and east access to deli's and restaurants on Broadway as well as subway access.”

• Great location, extremely comfortable bed, lovely décor.
• Original front desk staff a little brusque but next shift very helpful.

“Wonderful location for museums and theater visits. Comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and location ensure will return.”

• The space of the room as well as the refrigerator.
• The public bathroom was on the second floor.

“The location was great and the room was lovely. I liked the fact that it had a sitting area and it also offered complimentary morning coffee which was excellent and they offered a refrigerator, so I could actually come and stay at this hotel again with my 9 month old because I could store his food in the refrigerator.”

• The suite was well laid out, nicely furnished, comfortable bedding, great TVs.
• We had to wipe hair out of the shower before using.

“The Blakely is very quaint, not in the least chain like traditional furnishings, very New York. Great location, several blocks to Central Park, six to Times Square. Yet it is located in quiet area with easy access to cabs. Lobby is very small, which became crowded when more than one guest needed service from the desk.”

• They went the extra mile to get us directions from the hotel to home.

“This hotel had everything. It's within walking distance of Times Square. I will stay at the Blakeley during my next visit to NY.”

• Great location, privacy of separate living room with a door.
• Somewhat expensive, the comforter kept sliding off to one side of the bed.

“We like the fact that the living room with a door and hardwood floor gave us more privacy between the family member and the feeling of home rather than at a hotel.”
