• Close to PATH station, grocery store, shopping mall and waterfront walk.
• The room is not sound-proofed, especially the door.

“In general, this hotel is clean, conveniently located except that a construction is going on just in front of it, which blocks the entrance a little bit. I didn't expect a private operating taxi when I asked them to reserve a taxi for us. No receipt for the taxi and $45 plus road toll are charged for going to the Amtrak station in New York.”

• Great location, updated, clean room, cookies!
• No free high speed internet.

“Excellent location, short walk to PATH train to get to Manhattan, room was clean with contemporary, updated decor, staff was helpful and attentive and the cookies given to us at check-in were great!”

“I thought having to pay $20 for parking was outrageous! I think if you are going to be staying in the hotel it should be included because you are a guest! The food was way overpriced and the portions small!”

• the rooms were extremely spacious and clean, the amenities were superior and it was just an all around good experience.
• The restauraunt/bar was not open at 5pm on a Saturday.

“I would reccomend the hotel to anyone travelling lesiurely to either jersey city or manhattan, its a short ride on the path. The rroms were very clean and spacious. A very good value for the price.”

• Free cookies at check in, super huge rooms and comfortable beds.

“Overall this was a great hotel. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, a fridge, hair dryer and a pull out bed in addition to the king bed we got.”

• Card needed to get elevator working, microwave and fridge in room.
• Toilet was very noisy when flushed (heard neighbors), $15 for parking.

“I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights with my family and a niece and a nephew. When we reached the hotel, I asked two double bed rooms for us. At first, the hotel staff told me she can give me two king bed rooms with pull out sofa-bed as their double beds rooms are all sold out. I have not had any chance to make specific request about rooms. They were shifting their responsibility to each other, and I ended up sleeping in the smelly smoking rooms with my kids. I could not stand cigarette smell in the rooms and never wanted to pay for smoking rooms. I talked to the manager and he gave me one non-smoking king bed room from next night. It was not a pleasant experience at all this time with the hotel in Jersey city.”

• The am staff was more hospitable and friendly.
• The front desk man was not helpful at all.

“Hotel is located in the busy district of Jersey City and accessible to many kinds of transportation to other key cities and New York. It is quite congested because it is very near Holland tunnel. The parking area was spacious although you have to pay $15 a day for it even if you are a guest. Talk about accommodation! The room is alright. But when we checked in we were surprised to see 1 king bed and there were 4 of us!”

“The check-in was quick and efficient. The staff was not knowledgeable about area attractions or locations. The room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves.”

• The location is close to the LightRail station.
• The coffee machine was very dirty and not cleaned. The shower tub was old.

“Staff was friendly. The coffee machine in the room was dirty and not cleaned. We had to wash it many times before we could start to use it. We didn't buy any gift in the hotel, but the bill asked us to pay something that we didn't buy. Fortunately, the staff was happy to correct the mistake they made and apologized.”

• Friendly helpful staff.
• Bit farther from path from public transportation.

“Room was clean, staff very helpful -fairly good location, few block walk to path station, -decent partial view of NY skyline -beds comfortable but not as fluffy and luxurious as other 3 star hotels I've stayed in- Overall I would recommend and would stay again.”

• Set up of room.
• Very uncomfortable mattress on sofa bed.

“Good experience, hotel staff very friendly and hotel located in convenient location to path station. The beds were very comfortable and the room spacious, well set up and clean however the pull out sofa felt as if you were sleeping on bare springs - with each one poking into you.”

• The surrounding area seemed clean and nice.
• The guest staying in the next room was extremely loud!

• The staff was very friendly -- every staffer I met actually. The room was clean and comfortable. And, the location -- perfect --close to subway.
• The restaurant -- terrible breakfast buffet -- kind of hard to screw up breakfast, but they did.
