• Proximity to NJ transit bus stop for trips to NYC.
• Times when young kids were running wild in the hotel

• Spacious and close to restaurants.
• Old furniture, interior decorations and bathrooms.

“The door lock was defectors, it took a day to fix it. The air conditioning in the room did not work and we had to change room after 3 days. The hotel management and staff were very nice but the hotel needs remodeling.”

• The rooms were nicely appointed, and the bedding was very nice and comfortable.
• No shuttle service to LaGuardia Airport.

“The hotel was clean and attractively decorated. The usual amenities were included although the "kitchen" facilities were much smaller than expected. There was very little counter space. There were two televisions that were not flat screens.”

• The front desk staff and the breakfast.
• Kids playing games on the internet when adults needed it for business or travel purposes. The air conditioner was cranked. It was freezing.

“We prefer to stay in the Hilton/embassy suites hotel and this one was met all the expectations that this hotel line offers. Clean spacious rooms and excellent room service. Delicious free breakfast made to order. You cannot find a better hotel. I've stayed in more expensive hotels with no perks. Not so with the embassy. Fabulous!”

• Ease of getting to NYC. Was excellent!
• The carpet in the room was covered with stains, yuck!

“Great location for getting to NYC. Easily and fairly quickly. Absolutely wonderful to be able to park (free), leave luggage in hotel storage and hop on bus (right across street from hotel) to new York. Sure beats battling new York traffic to get to a smaller but more expensive room in the city with astronomical parking rates (if the city hotel even has on site parking). Only problems with our embassy suites experience - the carpet was filthy in our room and the noise level was very high all night. Perhaps the latter was due to our first floor location and a room choice on a higher floor may have been quieter. Don't know how to explain the carpet, though.”

“10 minutes from New York City with parking and surrounded by restaurants. Free parking is a bonus. The breakfast was more than expected. Pleasant staff. And a suite style room as another bonus.”
