“Horrible! The web site said construction would be done before May yet in late May I awoke to the hammering of tack strip for carpet being put in the room directly above me. One nail every foot or so. Had late night room service and by morning ants were on the unfinished food. Even the floor I was on had construction going on all through the day. I would never stay there again!”

“The front desk appeared understaffed, both upon check in and check out, only one person was working phones and helping customers. The room decor was very dated. I felt as if I was back in the 80's. The mattress was substandard. I did not sleep well that evening. Overall the experience was below satisfactory and disappointing.”

“Easy to get to and very open parking lot with plenty of spaces. The rooms were kept clean and spacious. However, the noise from hallways or other rooms was easily heard inside the room.”

“The staff is great. Hotel is cleaning. Very dark parking lot (kind of scary to park). The biggest complaint is the uncomfortable beds. I tend to always stay on the 3rd Floor. I love the hotel but dread sleeping on the beds.”

“This is no longer a 3 star hotel. I've stayed here in the past but would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very dirty and there was a terrible smell throughout. The restaurant stopped serving food at 10pm. The first room they gave me, the heat didn't work, so when I called the front desk they were not surprised-so why would they put someone in that room if they know the heat doesn't work. They moved me to another room that the heater was so loud; it kept me up most of the night.”

“The hotel was terrible my wife and I went and complained about the beds the noise and basically everything else, and all they told us was that they were going to start renovating. That doesnt help me when I want a good nights sleep.”

“This hotel is comfortable but for 3 stars I would have like to see a better kept room. Mine leaked as it rained and had stains in other portions of the room which looked as if it had been leaking in those areas. It was however friendly and room service was a great value.”

“The staff was not customer friendly, until I complained about the fact that they did not clean my room. The food for breakfast (ordered off the menu) was awful. The exercise room was limited and the treadmill was not working properly. The benefits we the price and the location.”

“Excellent location. I stayed there because my spouse had surgery in a hospital only 20 minutes away. Our home is 1 1/2 hours away from the hospital, and commuting would have been impossible for me. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and had a very upbeat, energetic ambiance. They provided complimentary hot cider in the lobby. The staff was very caring.”

“This hotel had bad service, the bed was horrible, the room didn't have a working phone for days, the internet connection did not work for days as well, the toilet leaked, our room service never arrived and the room was run down in appearance. The other thing we felt was really horrible was the fact that the smoking rooms were not separate from the non smoking and every day our walk to our room was like walking through a Smokey pub just awful!”

“Fairly standard Holiday Inn full service. Decent lobby and rooms. Ate at the restaurant and all was ok, nothing special except the service was good. Overall a good stay.”

“Holiday Inn Tinton Falls is very close to count Basie Theater in Red Bank. The cab ride costs around $15 each way. The hotel concierge gives you information about the shuttle. Of course, you have to make reservations in advance.”

“This hotel is easy to get to - right off of the Garden State Pkwy. It is not a 3-star hotel - 2 would be pushing it. Beds are lousy and the rooms aren't sound-proofed, so it tends to get very noisy from people walking in the halls, or watching TV in nearby rooms. The "fitness center" has 1 treadmill and 1 stepper and 1 weight bench.”
