“As silly as it sounds, do not stay in the smoking room if you are not a smoker. The sheets and pillows smelled like the smoke had been there for years. The room itself was dingy. But the staff was very courteous and wanted to help in any way possible. I'm sure that the summer is nicer because of the pool and the proximity of the rooms to the pool. If you are a true girly girl, this is not the hotel for you. The staff is truly great.”

“Outstanding outdoor pool, large with 10 foot deep end. Great out side bar and great Jap restaurant with tea house. Superb flowers, but hotel is beat. You can't go home again!”

“This hotel is probably 50 years old, and it shows. The room is moderately attractive and surprisingly. The bathroom has been remodeled. The room & bathroom were clean. However, the hotel is right on rt 17, just a few feet from 6-8 lanes of traffic. The traffic noise is very bad, even at 3 am! I had to turn on the AC to try and drown out the traffic noise at night. I don't think I would have been able to sleep without this attempt to mask the traffic sounds. This is a budget motel, and you get what you pay for. They seem to rent blocks of rooms to workers that are staying in the area for several weeks or months. These workers go to work early, so they will be gone before most people get up. Still, not a place to go with the kids or for anyone that might be picky. The motel has a V-shape layout with the sliding glass doors facing towards rt 17. There is no way to avoid the traffic noise. The motel was cleaner that I expected for the budget l
