• The staff was wonderful.
• The computer usage was chaotic.

• Great price.
• Small lounge/restaurant area.

“Continental breakfast was decent with a wide variety of food. There were two restaurants within walking distance and a large outlet mall within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.”

• Free parking although it was way in the rear of the hotel.
• Overall quality of hotel wasn't that great.

“It could be that I am just used to the top quality hotel so I may be a bit unfair in my rating. I am used to a certain type of hotel stay and this one just didn't cut it.”

• Can't - didn't stay there.
• They did not hold a room for us.

“We arrived at the hotel about 11:00 am. They said it was too early for check in and to come back in 2 or 3 hours. We told them we were attending a baseball game in New York and would be very late getting back. We explained that we'd be taking mass transit and asked if it was okay to park our rent-a-car there. They said no problem. We arrived back at midnight only to find there was no room. The hotel was overbooked. It did not meet our needs. We needed two double beds. They sent us to the other Courtyard by Marriott. It wasn't as nice of a place. We lost two hours of sleep over this issue and thought about contacting the manager of the first hotel the next day, but our travel schedule did not permit that.”

• Comfortable beds. Quiet. Attentive staff.
• Would have liked to have a small refrigerator in the room.

“I highly recommend the Elizabeth, NJ Marriott. It was very comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was excellent (although we did have to pay for it).”

• Excellent service, clean rooms, great atmosphere.
• There was nothing that I disliked about my stay here.

“The hotel staff was very friendly. There is a terrific dinner right next to the hotel that you can go to when room service is not available, very easy access to Jersey Gardens Mall, rooms were very clean and spacious!”

• The convenience of the shuttle to the p-4 at the airport.
• No extra blankets or pillows for the pull out bed.

• The swimming pool.
• Food selection was small.

“Had to call twice to get roll away cot. Requested blanket and never got it. I got 5 sheets instead of a blanket.”

• The view was amazing.
• They were under construction.

“Due to construction you had to in circles in order to get to the rooms for amount 10 minutes - including outdoors. It was very inconvenient that each time you wanted to go up or downstairs it was a whole trip. Besides for that it was a nice stay.”

• Awesome breakfast buffet, although it costs extra.
• Front desk attendant was preoccupied and was hard to find at times.

• I loved the room, it was perfect for the type of getaway I was looking for! I will definitely choose this hotel again!

“I had a great time at this hotel, it was one of my best experiences. It is located right next to the largest mall in Jersey! The pool and Hot tub was extraordinary. I had the best time!”

• Parking lot gated with key for exit - key already turned in.

“Tricky to find - very nice and clean with friendly helpful staff - pool nice - room clean & quiet.”

• I liked the extras, like the internet connection with Ethernet, iron with board in room coffee.
• Bathtub was not clean, stains on carpets.

“The staff was friendly. The appearance was good. The amenities were good. The bathroom and carpet were slightly dirty. Overall I had a good night. I would stay at this hotel again, and I would recommend it to my friends and family.”

• Great breakfast area.
• Very difficult to get to, got lost every time we left.

“The hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly. The pool was not heated, the hot tub did not work but the water was hot. If you use this hotel make sure you have a map of the area.”

• The shuttle drivers are indiscipline.

• Quick check in, convenient location, pleasant staff, large rooms.
• Carpet in room could have been vacuumed a little better.

“We just needed a place to stay overnight for an early morning flight at Newark airport. This was perfect. Conveniently located. Hotel looked pretty new and in good condition. Staff was pleasant, there was plenty of convenient parking and the rooms were spacious.”

“Nice clean roomy hotel. Indoor pool and decent workout room. Free internet was a big plus. It was a bit difficult to find. It is within quick and easy walking distance of the jersey gardens outlet mall, which is huge. The restaurant menu was limited and expensive as expected in the New York City area.”

• Free parking, nicely decorated, coffee in lobby, free 800 phone calls from the room.
• Exercise room very limited equipment.

“Pleasant staff and attractive facility with free parking, rates were good for the value (used on-line reservation service), all the expected amenities in the room. Dial-up internet worked well for me and I was allowed to check in early which were very convenient. Directions to the hotel were good.”

• Rooms were clean & bedding changed daily.
• On our date of arrival we noted entire hotel was non-smoking - on our date of arrival - it was obvious someone was smoking marijuana in their room.

“Reported marijuana smoking to front desk but they appeared to be uninterested - all pool was unavailable for use one whole day.”
