• I loved the exercise facility, the breakfast buffet and the lavish amount of food choice, and I loved the clean well appointed room.
• The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. I had a very relaxing time.

“Great hotel, very safe and secure, with great facilities in everything from the room, the pool and exercise area, to the breakfast buffet and convenience, and especially its nearness to the mall and highways. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a really nice place to stay with plenty of facilities and proximity to a lot of places.”

• Everything!
• Whats not to like!

“After leaving an undesirable hotel nearby, we checked in here and it seemed as if the clouds broke away and the sun starting shiny! Everything was excellent! Now this was back in 2005. Our stay was wonderful. After checking in we visited the bar downstairs and ordered Long Island Iced Tea. Now I've had this drink before and not everyone can make a Long Island Iced Tea. However, the Bartender was making hellified drinks (is he still there?)! He had people falling out of their chairs. It was like free entertainment with every purchase! I could only handle one though. We slept very well that night. We had breakfast the next morning which was delicious! The staff was so polite and eager to answer any question we had about the area. They also made recommendations for site seeing. The Jersey Garden mall was a delight as well. I know where to go when we visit NJ/NY again.”

• Small lounge/restaurant area.

“Continental breakfast was decent with a wide variety of food. There were two restaurants within walking distance and a large outlet mall within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.”

• Free parking although it was way in the rear of the hotel.
• Overall quality of hotel wasn't that great.

“It could be that I am just used to the top quality hotel so I may be a bit unfair in my rating. I am used to a certain type of hotel stay and this one just didn't cut it.”

• Can't - didn't stay there.
• They did not hold a room for us.

“We arrived at the hotel about 11:00 am. They said it was too early for check in and to come back in 2 or 3 hours. We told them we were attending a baseball game in New York and would be very late getting back. We explained that we'd be taking mass transit and asked if it was okay to park our rent-a-car there. They said no problem. We arrived back at midnight only to find there was no room. The hotel was overbooked. It did not meet our needs. We needed two double beds. They sent us to the other Courtyard by Marriott. It wasn't as nice of a place. We lost two hours of sleep over this issue and thought about contacting the manager of the first hotel the next day, but our travel schedule did not permit that.”

• Comfortable beds. Quiet. Attentive staff.
• Would have liked to have a small refrigerator in the room.

“I highly recommend the Elizabeth, NJ Marriott. It was very comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was excellent (although we did have to pay for it).”

• There was nothing that I disliked about my stay here.

“The hotel staff was very friendly. There is a terrific dinner right next to the hotel that you can go to when room service is not available, very easy access to Jersey Gardens Mall, rooms were very clean and spacious!”

• The convenience of the shuttle to the p-4 at the airport.
• No extra blankets or pillows for the pull out bed.

• Food selection was small.

“Had to call twice to get roll away cot. Requested blanket and never got it. I got 5 sheets instead of a blanket.”

• Great staff, clean, friendly and
  comfortable bed.

“Location was close to the Newark Prudential Center where we went to a concert. Extremely comfortable, clean, newer building and friendly and accommodating staff. I would highly recommend this location for anyone planning to visit this area.”

• The view was amazing.
• They were under construction.

“Due to construction you had to in circles in order to get to the rooms for amount 10 minutes - including outdoors. It was very inconvenient that each time you wanted to go up or downstairs it was a whole trip. Besides for that it was a nice stay.”

• Front desk attendant was preoccupied and was hard to find at times.
