  • Location to NYC. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms.
  • Parking is not attached to the Hotel. Pricy restaurant.

“We stayed for a visit to New York City. It was incredibly convenient and much less expensive than a hotel in the city. The hotel is attached to the Newark train station and a train from Newark to Penn Station in NYC is quick and cheap. The hotel is very nice and the front desk staff was friendly and had lots of good suggestions on touristy things to do in the City. While the hotel restaurant is expensive, the hotel is also attached to a mall with cheaper options.”

  • Great room.
  • $21.99 for parking.

“The hotel itself is very good. However, it's in a very unsafe neighborhood, you have to pay $21.99 to park your car, airport shuttle only runs one time each hour. It's very inconvenient to EWR airport. If an airport trip is the reason for youre staying at this hotel, don't stay here unless you have a car and make sure to lock your doors when driving to and from the hotel.”

  • The hotel was over booked and they shipped us to a different hotel.

“I had reservations 1+ month in advance and they overbooked the hotel. They shipped us 5 minutes away in a different hotel.”

  • I did not like anything about this hotel--it was terrible.
  • Unsafe parking-room was sub standard-lack of staff.

“This hotel was unsafe for parking for the area. The room needed updating, wallpaper in disrepair, was given a handicap room, noisy. There was no one at the desk to help me when I checked out, no one knew anything about the parking, and it is in an unsafe area. I travel every week and this was the worst.”

  • The bed was very cozy and comfortable.
  • No free parking or part of the hotel.

“The room was small & the bathroom was ridiculously small, the parking was expensive and did not even offer a discount for hotel guests. The only thing that was great was the bed; it was so comfortable I just sank into it every night! The people were nice but gave us keys to an occupied room at first!”

“Good location, with parking (), the hotel is clean and the rooms are ok. However, I found it very hard to sleep because of the beds, and as a couple we had to sleep in separate beds because one full bed is just too small.”

  • Honestly, I picked it for the combination of price and proximity to mid-town Manhattan.

“.this hotel is only two stops out of pen station-nick on the train. The path is a little longer, but half the price, which makes this location nearly perfect. The room was immaculate. The service staff was very accommodating. My partner and I was slow leaving by noon and the maid just smiled and said that she would return after her lunch.”

  • Can't come up with anything.
  • Horrible service for a Hilton.

“We get to the Hilton around 7 pm after a 13 hour drive and get told there are no rooms clean for us and we'd have to wait an hour. They wanted to give us 2 rooms on 2 floors when they did become available. After 45 minutes, I demanded a manager and 2 rooms instantly became available on the same floor 5 rooms apart. With 2 in each room, we were given 1 bath towel each room, no coffee or condiments and had to call more than once to ask for them. The deadbolt on one room didn't work and the toilet flushed only occasionally. It was not a good experience plus the fact that we were led to believe that parking was included but found out it was $20 a night. It was one of the most terrible if not the most terrible experiences we've had at a hotel.”

  • The most amazing bed I've ever slept in. So comfortable.
  • No validated parking. We were charged for 2 days, even though we parked at 1 a.m. and left at noon.

“This hotel is in a great location for easy access to New York City by either car or train. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was, by far, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The pillows were amazing. Our stay here was very brief, but the hotel completely lived up to our expectations.”

  • Convenient location closer to Metro to New York
  • Parking Fees.

“The hotel is very conveniently located just across the Metro so easy to travel to New York from here. The Bad thing is the hefty 20.00 $/day parking they charge the guest. Stayed for 5 days and every day they forgot something or other with the supplies, coffee, creamer, sugar etc.”

  • The rooms were nice and the linens comfortable.
  • The staff was not helpful at all and many were outright rude.

“The hotel has a shuttle but there are two Hiltons in the area and if you take the wrong shuttle, neither Hilton will help you get to the right Hilton which does not help you if you do not have a car and are unfamiliar with the area. The staff was outright rude when we were stranded at 2:30 in the morning and had already paid for a room at the other Hilton. They expected us to take the shuttle back to the airport and wait another half hour for the correct shuttle to show up.”

  • The hotel is convenient to get into downtown New York by the turnpike as well as Routes 1 and 9.
  • It is across the street from Penn Station ... there is noise and traffic most of the night.

“Nice staff. The hotel didn't have any double beds which I generally prefer. They were apologetic and offered to move us the nest day which we didn't because our trip was so short.”

  • I expected it to be close to the airport and to have a restaurant.

“It is not close to the airport and because there is no restaurant I had to either go out or order from a place that charged a delivery fee on top of a require 18% gratuity.”

  • Friendly staff, accommodating.
  • Construction noise, put me in a smoking room, a number of other small complaints as well.

“It is renovating. Therefore, it is somewhat difficult stay, although the staff was quite nice and admitted the inconvenience. If you are going to put me in a first class hotel, as you really should, since I'm one of your original customers, please don't pick one with the jack-hammers.”

  • the location of the garage and the lack of parking validation with the overnight stay.
