“From the first moment the taxi driver pulled into this disgusting so-called hotel (which at first looked like the local dump) just screamed bad experience through my mind. As I entered into the room I nearly had a heart-attack. I could not believe anyone would consider staying here. The hotel was under renovation, the manager should have closed the place during the renovation period. The room was very unsafe construction wise. We were located upstairs and found the floor was unsteady, carpet was filthy with mice running around, the fridge still had old food/drinks in it, the bed looks as if the sheets weren't washed with the occasional bug or two, bubblegum and cigarette buds located on the bedhead, cigarette holes in the curtains, the bathroom or don't get me started. Tiles were cracked, the toilet was surprisingly clean however if you were to lean back you'll find yourself falling into the parking bays. With all the cracks in the room I wouldn't be surprised if there were cameras looking at me. Security was pathetic the room had only a chain to make me feel safe. Fullstop I wouldn't even let my pet stay here! My spouse and I along with our 3 month old son had no choice but to stay the night and leave the next morning as the streets were too terrifying to explore. We found it too noisy for our son to stay there (police cars, helicopters and the construction workers). Knights Inn is not a family friendly environment. If you want a place to sleep for the night and you can handle the health hazards, limited security and the disgusting run down environment then Knights Inn is the place to stay. Personally it's not a place for myself, my friends or my family.”

“It was disgusting, there were cigarette burns in the sheets and headboard, there were the remains of a Marijuana cigarette, the stereo built into the headboard didn't work, there was writing on the wall, there was a huge chunk of wallpaper missing, the mirrors around the headboard were duct taped together, the floor around the Jacuzzi was about an inch higher than the rest of the floor so of course I kicked it walking to the bathroom and cut my foot wide open, the neighborhood was disgusting and dangerous, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone not even my enemies, avoid this one like the plague, this is not a joke I mean this with the utmost sincerity.”

“Do not stay here! I can not stress that enough. I pity anyone who would ever spend their honeymoon here. Where do I start? Location, this is possibly the ugliest area of any city anywhere. I would avoid it like the plague. The mirrors along the back of the bed were duct taped together. My girlfriend found the remains of a marijuana cigarette on the headboard. The headboard was equipped with a stereo, but only one speaker was functional, the other was destroyed and left in anyway. The sheets smelled like bleach so the were washed at some point, but there were cigarette holes in them. There were also cigarette burns on the headboard and posts at the foot of the bed. The carpet around the bed was filthy and covered with dust bunnies. There were also huge dust bunnies above the bed on the ceiling. There was writing on the wall and a huge chunk of wallpaper ripped off. The Jacuzzi tub was nice, thankfully we brought Clorox wipes with us to clean it because it was filthy. The marble floor around the tub was about an inch higher than the rest of the carpeted floor in the room, I kicked it walking across the room and cut my foot wide open thankfully I had my tetanus shot updated not so long ago. Please take my advice and spend the extra $20 or whatever it takes to stay at any other hotel in the entire state, this is no exaggeration.”

“Hotel rooms in need of updates. Carpet was so dirty it smelled bad. Restroom and shower had mold growing in the corners and soap scum on shower walls. Cigarette burns on the sink countertop and toilet seat.”

“Bring raid and shake your bags when you check in here. If you are on a really tight budget and luxury is not your thing then stay here. But dont ever go to the gas station next door or you will get robbed.”

“Avoid this one like the plague. I selected this one because it seemed near the airport and I had an early flight. When I arrived in the morning I was given a room which smelled funny. The bathroom was in shambles with lights that would not turn on. When asked I was advised to "leave them on for a few minutes" which seemed to do the trick. After I went out for work in the afternoon and when returned could not re-enter my room with the given key. On calling the manager he opened the door with his key only to find someone else inside the room. (So glad I did not leave any luggage in the room that day). As an afterthought the manager informed me that "you have been moved to a better room because the bathroom lights did not work in this one". The other room given to me was a little bit better but still very badly maintained.”

“The hotel itself was okay. I mean, if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's not a bad choice. For picky people, maybe this place is not for you. It's walking distance to the train station to New York but I suggest you drive and park there. Overall, it's not bad. You get your money's worth, I guess.”

“Arrived at midnight to a police van with lights on that were there all night long, people who obviously were living at the hotel either on drugs or drunk partying all night long, Room was just disgusting and this is being nice the sheets were dirty had to sleep on top of covers, the carpet dirty, the bathroom no words to describe this drove to McDonald's to use the toilet vs. the one in my room The Tub and sink were full hair and shaving the floor slimy and full of ashes... Cars in the parking lots with one with two flat tires and broken windows parked directly outside of our door, no toilet paper, tissues or towels, asked for cleaning supplies, towels or clean room waited four hours nothing was delivered and managed did nothing to accommodate us. ”

“This is a terrible hotel. It is located in a bad area and is very dirty and run down. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I felt very unsafe leaving my belongings in the room and my car in the parking lot. I can't say anything good about this disgusting hotel.”

“The hotel was not at all suitable for a Family stay and I never expected such a hotel to be on your selected list. The hotel was filthy, the bathroom was extremely dirty. My spouse never used it and would wait when we went out to use the restroom at the mall or restaurants. On checking out when I pointed out these to the Staff, they claimed that in two months time they are renovating -- not at all an excuse for not keeping the hotel clean !!!!I was disappointed. Some one from your organization or Knights Inn should physically check these hotels. Especially, Knights Inn -- they have given the franchise and it is their brand name.”

“It should not even be rated as a 1 star hotel. It was completely un-satisfactory. You had it listed as $69/night. They had their rooms listed for $20/night. I feel like you tried to trick us. You should consider not representing this hotel because it definitely reflects back on you that you would condone this junky hotel.”

“It was so dirty I had to go buy cleaning supplies before we could use the bathroom. The desk clerk told me that I could move to another room or move to another hotel because the price was so cheap I couldn't expect anything more. We had to stay because we were on a budget. After our complaint and display of dirty cleaning rags, their demeanor slightly changed. They gave us a substantial discount for the room. I will be contacting Knights' Inn with a complete list of complaints. ”
