“I did not care for the hotel. I should have paid the extra cash a night and stayed in one of the casinos on the boardwalk. The place needed a lot of maintenance, painting and was dirty. Our door, when closed had a large gap in it that you could see through from the outside. We had HBO, but most of our channels on the TV were fuzzy and hard to see. The refrigerator in the room was old and even though it was turned all the way up it still didn't keep our drinks cold. The hair dryer they offered kept getting hot and shorting out. And the distance to the boardwalk was a lot further than stated. Also, the parking lot out front can hold about 10 cars, but you were double parked. When we went to leave in the morning, we had to find the person parked behind us and ask them to move. The person at the desk claimed he tried, but couldn't get anyone and that is all he could do. Luckily the people left their paperwork on their front seat with the room number they were in and my husband had to go knock on their door and ask them to move their car himself. I felt if you are going to have double parking then you should keep the person's keys, or at the very least they could have done a little more to find the person themselves and asked them to move instead of having us do it ourselves. The 2nd day we were there, we tried to get back into our room and couldn't. Apparently, they issue you a new key card each day for security reasons. They claim in case you lose your card. Now the card didn't even have the hotel name on it, let alone a room number and we were never notified that we needed to pick up new key cards each day. That was a major inconvenience. The only good part of the hotel was the shower actually worked good as far as water pressure, but the curtain on the shower was too short so one end or the other was open and the floor would get wet and the tub didn't drain very fast. By the time we were done with our shower, the tub was filled with water. Also, the towels that we have.”

“The hotel was fine, it wasn't the fanciest of all but I was good for what I wanted it for, to sleep after going across the street to the casino all night!”

“Parking lead a lot to be desired and it was noisy as mentioned above. They did have security cameras which was good considering this was a bad part of town. I realize this was a budget hotel and it was a good price. The electrical outlet covered by a nightstand was pulled from the wall. So was the overhead smoke detector. The safety bar was broken from the door. The carpet had mold growing on a part of it. I rented this room going by the Travel Lodge name. In the future I will pay more for a nicer better kept place.”

“Great place to stay if you plan on gambling for 20 hours each day and only need it for a "home base" and a place to park the car.”

“The location of this hotel is very convenient. The employees had no idea what to do with our online reservation. In fact we had to pay for the room when we got Amenities at Atlantic City, Nj Travelodge, Atlantic City
