• The manager was very nice and tried to improve our room when the first was unacceptable.
• A cheap motel being marketed as a 2 star hotel. Not up to industry standards. Shabby and beds were terrible.

“It is clearly not a 2 star hotel. It is a shabby old motel with the EconoLodge sign slapped up outside. There were cigarette burns all over the tub, the trim stuck to the bathroom door every time you opened it and the walls were paper thin. Rooms smelled and were not even comfortable to sit in. The only plus was that the manager was very helpful and tried to make a terrible place seem better.”

• Comfortable room; very friendly, helpful staff.
• Difficult left turn toward Ocean City.

“My 82 year old mother and I had a terrific time fast access to the beach very friendly staff and extremely comfortable room. All of which were very important to us. Much thanks for a very nice, last-minute stay!”

• It was convenient and we liked the pool.
• We were next to the laundry room and the room was a little smelly.

“The hotel was convenient to the local shore points. Having the pool at the hotel was a great alternative to the beach on really hot and humid days. It was also very convenient to the parkway. Going to the hotel instead of renting a shore house was nice because when we left for home it was very easy to pick up and leave.”

• Stayed here before it was a Wyndham and have always liked it.
• Nothing.

• The room was clean. They had a nice pool and the lobby was acceptable.
• The fact that you could only park one car at the hotel.

“The hotel met my expectation. It was not a great hotel, but it was decent for what they charged. The room was clean and the pool was nice. It was right outside of ocean city so I did not have to drive far to get to the beach. This hotel would not be my top choice but it was ok for the budget that I could afford at the time. The only thing that I did not like was that you are not allowed to have more than one car at the hotel and you had to pay 10.00 per each adult if you had more than 2 adults in the room”

• Smelly rooms that they tried to cover with air freshener - horrible of people w/allergies.

• Loss of electrical/water power.

“Room smelled of stale smoke. There was no power or water for approx 4 hours on one day of our stay and nothing was offered for compensation.”

• Cleaner than I expected.
• Would not refund first night¿s lodging though I called ahead to say I¿d be delayed.

“Friendly front desk. Cleaner than I expected. Easy to find. Small TV. Room not made-up during two-day stay.”

• Staff friendly and helpful.
• Air conditioner was filthy, filter completely clogged.

“Close to the GSP for travel. mold on ceiling of bathroom, no fan in bathroom. air conditioners obviously not cleaned or filters changed regularly. heated pool is nice. continental breakfast is convenient.”

• Some fixtures could have been updated (ie bathroom).

• It was relatively quiet.
• Wireless cable signal too weak to reach rooms. I was annoyed to find I paid the rack rate for my room.

“If you're looking for frills, don't bother with this. The rooms are Spartan and the "wireless Internet" signal is too weak to reach most rooms. There are no elevators, just stairs. It's on the bay so plan on driving to the beach. I found I paid the same and would have paid a little less if I had booked at the AAA rate.”

• A walk to restaurants and water.
• Older, a little more run down.

“This hotel was rather convenient, since it was close to the area we were partying at and we only got the room to stay overnight so we didn't have to drive 45 min home, so it worked out well. We did not so much care if it was nice or not, but overall it was decent.”
