• Beach nearby, balcony, swimming pool, kitchenette, wash line in the shower, room divider.
• Toilets backed up frequently, oven racks in backwards, inadequate supplies of pots and pans in some rooms, not enough storage in the bathroom.

“The hotel was an excellent value for what we received. We would recommend this hotel even though it was far from the boardwalk in OC. In some ways that added charm since we had the beach 1/2 a block away and not so much noise.”

• Close to ocean with pool, nice Tiki bar.
• Sink in bathroom unusually high. Children could not use.

• Rooms were a nice size, balcony.
• The desk clerks didnt make you feel welcome, did not know about the bus schedules.

“The hotel was nice enough, the room was nice, This is about my fourth visit to Ocean City at various hotels, and for the price that I paid I could have stayed at a higher rated hotel. Also the clerks were not as friendly, ready to answer questions. My other disappointment was I thought that I had included two children; they said that I did not. I was not prepared to pay the extra dollars for them. Most hotels children under 17 are free. Also no laundry. I would not recommend it to anyone traveling with children.”

• Proximity to the ocean.
• "Partial ocean view" was from 1 block away between skyscrapers.

“This hotel was a decent value hotel for the stay. The room was clean enough and staff was helpful and friendly. It is close to the ocean and parking was good. The upgrade to ocean view was a complete waste - the "view" was from a block away through skyscrapers.”

• I liked the view. The place was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable.
• The bathtub water was a little slow running out when you showered.

“The location was not bad for where I had to go. As I said the room was clean and the staff was very nice.”

• It was convenient having the kitchenette. Nice and close to the beach. Liked having a balcony.
• No hair dryer, iron, or ironing board. Coffee maker provided, but no coffee. Also, no place to hang up wet towels in the bathroom.

“A pretty good place to stay and close to the beach. Far from the boardwalk and downtown. Not fun having to make a u-turn every time I wanted to head toward Ocean City, but there is nothing the hotel can do about that. The room was attractive and pretty clean. Really liked the kitchenette and balcony. I took for granted that there would be an iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the room, but there was not! I wish I had known that ahead of time. Also, usually a hotel that gives you a coffee maker also gives you coffee packets, but this one does not, and the hotel's outdoor cafe was not open due to the cold. Thankfully, I brought my own coffee. Also, checkout time at 11 AM was too early for me.”

• Great price, clean room, courteous staff.
• Could hear sliding glass door in room above every time it was opened. Sounded like someone was moving furniture all night.

“Our stay was wonderful. The price was unbelievable for what you got. The room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Full refrigerator, stove, kitchen sink. Dishes were supplied. Very roomy. Nice view. Portion view of ocean. Staff couldn't have been nicer. I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled up in front of motel and saw how nice it was. It's a mile or so from busy section of boardwalk, but it was perfect for us. LOVE IT.”

• Good location/ people were helpful. I would go there again.
• When we first got in, the room smelled. We bought an air freshener and things were fine.

“This was a good place to stay, we were centrally located. The place was clean. The room smelled, I guess being closed, but we put an air freshener in it and it was fine after that.”

• Close to the beach.
• The room had an odor as you walked in the door.

“I thought it was nicer than it really was. The room smelled and wasn't cleaned well in between the 2 nights that we stayed. The bathtub didn't drain well and we stood in dirty water while showering The pullout sofa bed was uninhabitable. We called the front desk to tell them. The next day they sent maintenance to fix the springs and give us another mattress. I think I should have been compensated for the inconvenience.”
