• Tropical live birds on display.
• A little noise at night, not much.

“Ocean view room was very nice. Pool and facilities was as described. Would recommend again. Direct beach access from hotel.”

• The swimming pool and hot tub were nice
• The lobby smelled like vomit

“Positives: Nice swimming pool and hot tub, nice view, hammock right outside of our room, wonderful staff Negatives: The lobby smelled like vomit, when we arrived, our keys didn't work. We got new keys, and they didn't work either. We had to get the lock changed, the toilet seat was broken, the bird were annoying and loudOverall, I do not feel that the price I payed was worth it.”

• The beach was nice.
• Hotel room was very dirty, smelly.

“I have never stayed in a this horrible hotel. Every night we were there I had to call the front desk due to people below us using fowl language, yelling banging on the walls until 2 am or better. Our room was very dirty, the carpets were filthy, you could not even walk across the room without having your feet covered in black stuff. The fridge provided did not work and that is very hard when you are traveling with a 1 year old.”

“A very family friendly hotel with a lot of friendly staff and nice atrium, if you are looking for a comfortable, laid back hotel without polished brass fixtures, this is a good place.”

• Beach was easy and clean; bartender was friendly and prompt; check-in was easy.
• Starting to show signs of wear; may be end of season.

“For the beach and easy facilities, this is a great place. Rooms and interior will be less than sparkling. Tropical birds in the atrium will keep kids amused. Humidity control in the atrium (as with most hotels with an indoor pool) is a challenge.”

• The view of the beach was nice.
• Birds in atrium left loose during the day - I have been attacked by birds and was upset - lack of parking for 2nd car.

“The hotel was fine and the staff was friendly at check in. I had to go through the atrium to get to my room and they had a large amount of tropical birds which they left loose during the day. Every time I wanted to go somewhere I had to go to the end of the hallway and go up and down 5 flights of stairs and outside and around the building because I have been attacked in the past by birds and do not want to be anywhere near birds. We could only park one car on the lot and my daughter had to park on the street. She has a brand new 2009 vehicle which was damaged while parked on the street. The passenger door was body slammed by someone which completely ruined the door and paint on her new vehicle. I would not return to that location because of the birds.”

• Great proximity to beach & spectacular views from our room.
• Dirty, unprofessional staff.

“The proximity to the beach and the view from our ocean side room was the best part about this hotel. Our room was decent enough to sleep in and fairly clean. Would not stay here again though.”

• View, quiet surroundings.
• Mildew in room/bathroom floor a mess as tiles breaking etc.

“Upon arrival room door was open with TV on and no one in there, bathroom very dirty. After letting front desk know, another room was offered and accepted. New room bathroom tiles cracked and coming apart as people walking on. Shower hard to regulate as went from hot to freezing cold. Mildew in radiator. Room keys did not work and had to get new ones. Food at atrium in hotel was good, but service slow as they forgot simple things such as water. Pool was nice and clean and bar by pool was nice.”

• Loved the view and balcony.
• A little far away from boardwalk.

“The view was beautiful and the balcony made it even better. The birds were a great thing to see when you are entering and leaving the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• It just seemed to be what we needed.
• The remote control did not work Saturday. But it was fixed on Sunday.

“The hotel was the location we needed. It was family friendly lots of young kids. We felt very comfortable and would stay there again. We got a kick out of the birds.”

• I went to a college graduation in Salisbury and we checked into the Quality Inn afterwards, and walked to a wonderful restaurant to celebrate.
• We could not get Ocean Front room w/King.

“It is great for family vacations and has plenty to keep a kid occupied while the parent can easily keep an eye out for their children. It is a no foul play operation. Lots of colorful parakeets, pools, hot tubs, and games to keep the family entertained.”

• The updated room.
• The loudness of the birds in the morning.

“Overall, this is a good find especially if you're looking to do things around town and not just on the boardwalk. Pleasant staff and great room. Beware of the birds in the morning though; they can get very loud making it hard to sleep late. The oceanfront view and sounds were a definite plus!”

• Half the hotel's heating system comes on automatically. You can not control the heat level in your room. Sleeping in 100+ degrees was not fun.

They did give me a fan when requested but it just blew hot air around the room. The carpet was very dirty, I wish they spent a little money on a carpet cleaner. The room came with a kitchen which was nice, but the bathrooms needs a remodel. The cleaning staff does a good job keeping everything else nice and neat. The Hotel was right next to the beach so that was nice. It also has a indoor and outdoor pool.”

• Lobby was family friendly.
• We were booked next to the hotel bar and it was load all night.

“Close to the ocean with indoor/ outdoor pool. Frig with microwave and stove in room. A plus to have interior entry hotel room. We had a room that was entered from the exterior and had to walk out in the elements to get to the pool.”

• The tropical pool area, balcony that overlooked on the inside.
• Our room we had to go outside to & from the inside pool burrrrrr.

• They had a youth event and they were straight up with me and asked it would present any problem with my stay. I truly appreciated it.
• No I was satisfied the elevator was slow but that's it.

“I enjoyed my ocean front room and the birds and koy in the atrium were very nice. Fresh fruit were available in the lobby free of charge it was very nice. I would definitely stay again and the hotel staff was very upfront about the youth events that were scheduled for the same time as my stay. I truly appreciated it”

• Nice ocean view, convenient location.
• They have no central air or fan circulation in the off season.

“Pleasant staff, indoor pool and atrium fun for the kids. Bathroom small and out of date (and had ants), was hot and stuffy. No air or central fan during the off season. Though front desk offered to bring up a portable fan. Expected at least basic climate control for the price.”
