“We were in town 2 nights to visit our new grandson, and returned to the hotel essentially just to sleep. The room was not large, but certainly adequate for us, and it was clean and reasonably updated. The bathroom was small, but again clean and updated. Some of the common areas in the hotel were somewhat worn, but there appeared to be some remodeling work going on so these may be updated soon. The staff was friendly and accommodating (extra towels, etc.). Nothing fancy here, but certainly a reasonable place to get a good night's sleep.”

“I arrived to a dirty rug with crumbs near one of the beds. My whole 3 day visit, the crumbs stayed there. The night of my travel, I just wanted to relax in my room and watch TV and I couldn't even do that because the few channels the room did offer, I couldn't get, because the TV lost the satellite connection due to a very bad thunder storm. The comforters had stains on them too - it was just horrible looking from the get go.”

“A nice place for family or business guests. It was not a convenient to Philadelphia as I hoped and it cost me $4.00 each day in tolls to travel to and from Philadelphia.”

“An acceptable hotel for business travels although it is somewhat off of the beaten path. The facilities, carpets and furniture show signs of wear and tear. Service was good.”

“This place is no where near a 3 star hotel. The staff is nice and the location for where I needed to be was perfect but that was about it. The hotel needs all kinds of work from painting, elevator, wireless networking, and ice machines. Lucky we didn't spend much time in the hotel because.”

“Close to everything. Staff treated us well. This was a very nice no-nonsense hotel. Extremely small bathrooms.”

“I was not happy with my stay. The rooms smelled, there were bugs in the pool, lots of them, the food was ok and over-priced. The TV did not work to order in room movies, the ceiling in the bathroom leaked on your back when you sat on the toilet. There were no light bulbs in the lamps and when I requested them I was told there were none to be given.”

“The hallway had a horrible stench, some combination of latrine, mildew and smoke. The room wasn't quite as bad, but still smelled horribly. The beds were small, lumpy and uncomfortable. There was not any exhaust fan in the bathrooms and the paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling. This should not be a 3 star hotel. Can we give it 1/2 star?”

“This is not a 3 star hotel. I feel I was misrepresented. At best 1 star economy hotel. Location was ok. Would not stay here again.”

“Overall it was an excellent stay. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Other than the window air unit being old and loud I would definitely stay here again if I went back for another trip.”

“I would stay if they cleaned up their act. I was shocked that my room was not made up and the second one was on a party floor. I guess teens were screaming up and down the hall all night. Called security. Got my room changed next night. 5th floor was much nicer than 3rd.”

“Stayed for 4 nights over 4th of July holiday- Generally okay, The hotel was crowded but we didn't hear much activity outside our room even though there was a lot of partying going on. Room was comfortable although beds were not. The restaurant had great breakfast and good service. The hotel had a mildew smell in halls and seemed to be rejecting its remodeling of a year or so ago.”

“I had a non-smoking handicap accessible room that smelled like cigar smoke and only had a double bed. Not very convenient for a wheelchair bound person traveling with a companion. The bed was hard as a rock. Not much different than any other regular Holiday Inn, run down and outdated.”

“Hotel was at a convenient location for our travels with many restaurants close by. Friendly staff and clean pool. Probably should be rated as a 3 star unless they do a remodel.”

“If you want to stay outside the city of Philly, this is an acceptable low budget stay. It has been partially updated, so the linens were new and the carpet, curtains and countertops were new, but fixtures were old and rusted in places. One bed looked like it hadn't been made with clean sheets and the staff didn't make any move to remedy that when told. The staff was gruff in general. I would not call this a three star hotel, but an acceptable two star version. It is way out of the way unless you are planning to drive in that direction away from the city.”
