• It was beach front and had a bay view. Very pretty sunrise and sunset.
• The hairdryer was not very powerful.

“Its a great place to stay if you cant afford a nicer hotel. It had 8 floors and the view was beautiful. The room had no soap for washing the dishes.”

• Location good, price affordable.
• Pool & spa area poorly maintained, dirty clothes found in closet at check-in, staff tried to gouge me for more $.

“I will not recommend this hotel. The ceiling glass in the pool was cracked and missing in several places, moldy tiles in spa area, dirty clothes in closet, sliding balcony door locks jammed and wouldn't open several times, staff member in reservations tried to gouge me on price and was rude. I am very disappointed with this whole experience.”

• Indoor pool & spa area, and closeness to beach.
• Has not been upgraded in a long time, needed repairs.

“We stayed at this hotel many time in past years. On this recent visit we felt that the hotel has just been left to sit as is. It looked and felt tired and old. We were a little disappointed.”

• Beautiful hotel and affordable.
• We had double beds and they could not put us in king size terrible sleep those two nights.

“I love the hotel and it would have been perfect if I had a good night sleep but we were in double beds very uncomfortable.”

• Location was convenient.
• Nonsmoking room smelled of cigarettes, lacking in extra blankets.

“I would have to see the other rooms, but if I were travelling alone and needed a cheap room for the night, I would consider this hotel. But not for a vacation stay. The room smelled of cigarettes, the shower screamed, I had to turn the AC/heat fan on high so that I didn't hear the elevator make loud noises, the door didn't close properly.”

• The location was good.
• Clerk was not knowledgeable and room type first given was wrong.

“The outside of the hotel is beautiful. The common areas are beautiful. Then you get to your room and it's dingy, dirty and doesn't match your first impression at all. Room types booked were not on record upon arrival. Had to specify what was booked and show room confirmation upon arrival to prove what was booked online.”

• Fast elevators and friendly staff.
• They had free wireless but had to go to the lobby every time to get on internet.

“Good stay except for the fact that I use internet a lot and could not pick it up in my room and heard other people had the same problem.”

• Sorry I was really disappointed and we went to another hotel.
• It had a hole in the wall and the wall was dirty oh and a vs.

“It should've been less I really wanted ocean view instead I got seaside and a smoking room which I could have lived with that but. I was celebrating my anniversary and we had to go to another hotel a nice one a little more but worth every penny.”

• I really like the location of the hotel, and it was right on the beach with very easy access.
• Rooms could have been a bit cleaner or possibly even remodeled.

• Wonderful location with a view of the ocean.
• No early check in.

“The suite was wonderful with a walk-around balcony that overlooked the ocean. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops. I'd recommend it and I plan to return next year.”

“It is pretty shabby. Location is good. The room is outdated and needs some touching up. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.”

• It is moderately priced and on the beach.
• It was older and the rooms were in some disrepair

“The hotel is in an excellent location - - right on the beach. Staff advised that a new owner has purchased it and is investing in the structure. A new restaurant just opened and the food was good and moderately priced. If the new owners upgrade the rooms (new paint, carpeting, etc.), I would rate it as a 3 star. As it is, it is a 2 star.”

• I was confused about how to get to the hotel from Coastal Highway.
