  amenities.
• Restaurant was not open. Cafe only with limited selections.

“Terrible rundown hotel, when I arrived at I was forced to take a smoking room, and given a great view of the wall of the adjacent Hilton- which during my stay I would gaze across in envy.”

• Location I did not want to be on the boardwalk so this Hotel was great.
• Rude people some guests were out of hand.

“I did like this hotel but, some of the guests were rude, loud, low class. Overall I would stay there again I know the hotel cannot help how some people act!”

• Loved the location, easy access to beach, awesome balcony room.
• Rooms need a little renovation.

• Excellent room right on the beach.
• Drain for whirlpool tub didn't hold water.

“Wonderful room with 2 double beds, a pull-out couch, a kitchenette. Hotel had an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, spa, arcade, aerobics room, restaurant, and an outdoor pool on the 4th floor. Free parking and no tips that needed to be handed out.”

• The view from our Oceanfront room.
• Moved us to another room. Scheduled construction right outside room!

“Worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. We got there on a Saturday, late afternoon. We were pleased with the room and the view. No problems Sunday. Woke up early Monday morning to what sounded like a jackhammer. They had scheduled concrete construction (our room had an exterior concrete walk way) right outside our room. Tried to understand at first. Left the hotel most of the day, but it did wake us up with absolutely no warning from the hotel. Construction lasted most of the trip. And by construction, I mean they grounded and resurfaced concrete non-stop. The only apology we got was from the construction workers. Finally were moved with two days left. Went from an ocean front view to a view of the neighboring hotel and parking lot. Purposely planned a trip in Ocean City during the off season for a quite, relaxing trip. Got exactly the opposite from the hotel. We got no warning from the hotel that construction would be taking place over our stay. And then they put us in room where concrete resurfacing was scheduled for the week. I was disgusted. Hotel offered us nothing but a worse room. Not even a lackluster attempt with a free breakfast voucher.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful.
• The heater in my room was fairly noisy.

“Hotel staff was great, very helpful and considerate. My room (Single King size bed) was a great value and quite comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained; the pool, the hot tub, the fitness room, the lobby, etc. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back to the Quality Inn and Suites again.”

• The room had a nice big fridge and a microwave.
• The room smelled bad and everything looked old.

“The hotel room was okay. It did smell really bad and we had to keep the balcony door open so the smell can air out. Everything else was okay.”

• It was beach front and had a bay view. Very pretty sunrise and sunset.
• The hairdryer was not very powerful.

“Its a great place to stay if you cant afford a nicer hotel. It had 8 floors and the view was beautiful. The room had no soap for washing the dishes.”

• I like the fact that is was very peaceful and loved the full kitchen.
• There wasn't anything that I disliked about the hotel except for they furnish rooms with a VCR and that should be replaced with DVD players.

“I loved the hotel pretty much. They should invest in DVD players to replace the very outdated VCR players in the rooms. I loved the small balcony with the table and chairs. I also enjoyed the view of the beach.”

• Location good, price affordable.
• Pool & spa area poorly maintained, dirty clothes found in closet at check-in, staff tried to gouge me for more $.

“I will not recommend this hotel. The ceiling glass in the pool was cracked and missing in several places, moldy tiles in spa area, dirty clothes in closet, sliding balcony door locks jammed and wouldn't open several times, staff member in reservations tried to gouge me on price and was rude. I am very disappointed with this whole experience.”

• Indoor pool & spa area, and closeness to beach.
• Has not been upgraded in a long time, needed repairs.

“We stayed at this hotel many time in past years. On this recent visit we felt that the hotel has just been left to sit as is. It looked and felt tired and old. We were a little disappointed.”

• Beautiful hotel and affordable.
• We had double beds and they could not put us in king size terrible sleep those two nights.

“I love the hotel and it would have been perfect if I had a good night sleep but we were in double beds very uncomfortable.”

• Location was convenient.
• Nonsmoking room smelled of cigarettes, lacking in extra blankets.

“I would have to see the other rooms, but if I were travelling alone and needed a cheap room for the night, I would consider this hotel. But not for a vacation stay. The room smelled of cigarettes, the shower screamed, I had to turn the AC/heat fan on high so that I didn't hear the elevator make loud noises, the door didn't close properly.”

• The location was good.
• Clerk was not knowledgeable and room type first given was wrong.

“The outside of the hotel is beautiful. The common areas are beautiful. Then you get to your room and it's dingy, dirty and doesn't match your first impression at all. Room types booked were not on record upon arrival. Had to specify what was booked and show room confirmation upon arrival to prove what was booked online.”
