• Very friendly and helpful hotel staff.
• Rooms were very dated.

“The hotel was in a great location; it was very close to the beach and numerous restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest drawbacks were the rooms. While they were clean, the decor was very dated, and the mattress was hard as a rock.”

• Nice staff, clean and comfortable, great location.
• Pool was not clean.

“We were looking for clean accommodations, and close proximity to the beach. This hotel met all of our expectations, it was clean (except the pool wasn't clean, the water was very cloudy), the continental breakfast was very basic, but passable, and it was a short walk (50 yards) to the beach. We were very satisfied with our stay, it suited our needs.”

• Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• Hotel rooms needed some updating. A fresh paint job might do the trick. Mattresses were uncomfortable.

“Hotel was in a great location. Beach was just down the block from the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms could use a bit of updating and a fresh coat of paint. Mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable. Maid service was good. Our room was cleaned, beds made and fresh clean towels every day. I would consider going there again.”

• I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and amenities.
• I did not like the lack of patio furniture on the balcony.

“It was a nice experience. The room was clean and had the amenities I required. More patio furniture such as a table would have been appropriate for the balcony. Overall it was above satisfactory.”

• Friendly, fast, courteous service. Close to beach, short drive to boardwalk and shopping.
• Maid service was lacking, but manager was fantastic--very concerned, gave us a room upgrade for free.

“Not luxury, but the best you can get for the price. We went the weekend before Memorial Day and I couldn't have asked for better. The maid service was lacking, but the manager made up for it with a free room upgrade. Very good location for a quiet getaway. Quiet beach, Rehoboth boardwalk and outlets a short drive away. Well worth it!”

• It was close to the beach and had a swimming pool.
• The check in time (3 p.m.) was late.

“This is a nice, clean motel about 1/2 block from the beach. It was in easy walking distance to restaurants. We enjoyed the pool, although it was very shallow. The staff was very nice and friendly. We would have preferred an earlier check-in time and a later check-out since we were only there for 1 night.”
