• Liked the way the balcony curved and had a lot of ocean front.
• Not being able to get wireless internet on top floor.

“We love this motel it is very clean, affordable and it was our second time we have stayed here. The Management is really great and helpful. Ocean City Maryland is one the cleanest beaches I have ever been to. I will keep coming back again and again.”

• Great view of the beach and boardwalk.
• The restaurant was only open for breakfast, balcony is not private.

“Very nice place, clean and convenient to the beach and boardwalk. Rooms were nice and the little "kitchen area" came in handy. I wish the balconies were private though.”

“The grand hotel was very nice, and incredibly affordable. Located right on beach and boardwalk, it was very conveniently located to most ocean city attractions. Our room was nice, clean, fairly well kept. The common areas left a little to be desired. The hallway on our floor smelled faintly like vomit. Other than that, it was a very good experience.”

• Great location.
• Not all rooms are oceanfront and they don't tell you what you're getting.

“For a recently constructed hotel, the interior feels dated and cheap. Based on the rate charged and the way the hotel is marketed, I expected a higher quality product. Check-in was slow and front desk clerks not very friendly. Guests can't charge food and beverages sold in hotel outlets to the room - never seen that before. Drop ceilings, poorly installed room carpet, cheap amenities felt like a typical O.C. motel, not a more upscale experience. Only good thing was location and size of the room. Beware of rooms near the ends of the hallways - not oceanfront due to the curvature of the building.”

• Great location, clean, comfortable rooms.
• Bathrooms were rather small.

“Very nice hotel. Great for families. Great location on Boardwalk - near everything, but out of the hustle & bustle of Ocean City. Always something to do. All rooms have a good view of the ocean.”

“The Stowaway Grand Hotel is in a prime location in Ocean City however I felt that the rooms were too expensive. It is a nice hotel but I've stayed in nicer hotels for less.”

• The hotel restaurants were very pricey.
