• Was quiet and hotel room had good features.
• Service was bad and the comforter on my bed was dirty. I asked for it to be changed. It wasn't.

“It took forever to check-in. I asked to rent a refrigerator only to be told after an hour of waiting that they didn't have any more refrigerators to rent out. The comforter on my bed was dirty. I specifically asked the cleaners to change it. It was never changed.”

• I only stayed there for one night.
• Room reeked of smoke, phone didn't work and wasn't replaced.

“I'm both a young professional who simply needed a clean, quiet room, and received neither. This was the worst room in which I've ever slept. I am someone who can sleep anywhere, from my car, floor of my office, etc., but would not sleep here again. The room reeked of smoke, a broken phone wasn't replaced, and the hotel almost charged me $23 for parking while there were free overnight spots on the street. I will use Priceline again because this is my first and only bad experience with them, but would never stay at the Comfort Inn Downtown Philadelphia again.”

• I loved the view of the Ben Franklin Bridge and the river.
• Walking there was a little scary but overall OK!

• This hotel had friendly and courteous staff.
• The rooms were very dirty and there was no coffee.

“This hotel had nice staff who helped me with anything
I needed. I didn't like that the room was real dirty but it was nice that they have smoking available there. I would stay here again it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The room was spacious and
I enjoyed my time.”

• We loved how our room overlooked the water way.
• $23 parking fee and were a little upset by this.

“The hotel was very clean and accommodating. My husband and I celebrated our 22 year anniversary and found it to be romantic. We were very pleased that there was a shuttle to take us into South street where we enjoyed a meal. The shuttle driver was very friendly and courteous. We would definitely visit again. However, we were not happy with the $23 parking fee.”

• We have stayed here before and it was always clean and very convenient to Phila attractions (historic, Penn's landing, etc).
• City view on lower floors is view of I95 and the noise to go with.

• Friendly staff.
• Location, right on highway and noise.

“Staff was great and located next to some great sightseeing opportunities. If you don’t want to sleep this is the place to stay. The noise from the traffic makes it feel like you are sleeping on the highway.”

• Armand at the front desk was very courteous and helpful.
• The hotel shuttle was not in operation when we would have used it.

“This hotel is quite convenient for people looking to explore Old City especially. We're walkers so we didn't mind crossing the bridge to get over to Penn's Landing. This hotel is great for accessing the Market/Frankford line that runs right through center city. It's also a 3 minute cab ride from great bars in Fishtown, just north of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back. Do not depend on the hotel shuttle. The driver called out sick the day we arrived and again it was not running the day we left. The day in between we had planned to walk around anyway, so this did not contribute to our enjoying our stay. Oh, and the hotel breakfast is more than continental. The waffle maker was a big plus!”

• Cleanliness.
• Noise in the room.

“Very convenient since it is close to downtown. Minutes walk to Old City and Market Street. It is close to Penn's Landing and B.Franklin Bridge. Very nice view at night from the Penn's Landing. A bit pricy considering the fact that it is close to very noisy highways.”

• Dirty and smelly.

“The hotel was way over priced. The roomed smelled (for lack of better words) funky. It's surrounded by major roads and highways, which happens to be convenient because as soon as you get there you'll want to leave.
They want an additional $22 to park your car in their lot. Never again.”

• Friendly, courteous front desk.
• Room condition left much to be desired.

“Good for business travelers in the heart of downtown. But do not expect comfort from this Comfort Inn. It's rooms were adequate, but below-par for the price. Having said that, let me also say: the shabbiness of the room and common spaces were wholly off-set by the quality of the staff, which was excellent.”

• I liked the fact that I can park on the street near the hotel for cheap. Also free internet.
• Only the fact that it wasn't in center city.

• Excellent breakfast! We make our own waffle. It's the best continental breakfast ever!
• The toilet water was running all the time. Street noise cause it's close to highway.

“Excellent hotel with the best free breakfast ever! It also provides crib which is a big help for us. Staff is very friendly. We also can walk to the river and Metro station. The view of the room is good. Definitely would recommend people to stay here.”
