• This hotel was in a great location and offered lots of options.
• They swiped our credit card, but did not add it to the account causing issues.

“The hotel was very nice. The only complaint we had was that when we checked in, they swiped our card, but did not add it to the account. We ate dessert at the hotel restaurant, which we recommend, and charged it to the room. Later the hotel called and made my husband go to both the restaurant, and the front desk to resolve the situation.”

• Great location in Center City.
• Hallways and rooms need to be updated a bit.

“Overall, very good experience. The hotel is in a great location right in Center City Philadelphia. Easy access to subways and regional rail. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Only negative is that the hallways and rooms are feeling a little dated. Bedding has been upgraded and very comfortable, but furniture, TVs and bathrooms need to be next. Overall satisfied and would stay again.”

• Elegant.
• The water in the shower/bath was not hot enough.

“Everything was really nice - only one complaint. The bath/shower was only luke warm - a disappointment for a mom that finally was able to get away from kid responsibility.”

• A suite room for my price!
• Nothing, everything was classy, beautiful, and elegant!

“I told all of my friends about the luxurious accommodations that we enjoyed for the bargain basement price! The hotel is right across the street from the Reading Terminal (great shopping!), had a luxurious lobby great for meeting with friends, and was right across the street from Maggiano's and the Melting Pot. Couldn't have asked for more!”

• The beauty and elegance was so refreshing.
• Nothing - I loved everything.

“The hotel was centrally located and was absolutely beautiful. They let us check in early and check out late. I cannot wait to go back. A wonderful room - clean neat and large with a beautiful view of the city of Philadelphia.”

• The location was perfect for seeing the sights

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous and it was close to all of the sights we wanted to see in the city.”

• Tremendous location, right next door to the train station and the Redding Terminal. Walking distance to all the popular sights. Very clean and quiet.

• Very comfortable beds and bedding!
• Staff was terrible in all areas, except housekeeping.

“I cannot say enough about the bedding, but other aspects of the hotel were outdated and the paint was peeling a bit in the bathroom. While the lobby and restaurants appeared 4-star, the service was definitely not (especially at the restaurant '13').”

• Very prestigious.
• The location was a little less than ideal.

“Our stay at the Marriot was wonderful. Once we found the Mall attached to the hotel via the Convention Center our stay was even better. We could buy quick meals at resonable prices and could window shop as well. The street area is a little scary especially the area set aside for smokers, there is no security there and the panhandling is excessive.”

• Hard to access entrance on street due to traffic.

“Staff very courteous and helpful. Bed very comfortable. All amenities excellent. We got a room on the top floor with quite a view. Car stayed in hotel until we checked out. Very easy to get around without it.”

• Within walking distance to subway, restaurants, everything in Center City.

“I booked it at the last minute and got a great deal. The hotel was beautiful, looks new, very chic. Got on the subway (a block from hotel) to see a show at Wachovia and were there in minutes. Check in was easy, they were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.”
