“I thought that this hotel was beautiful and luxurious, and it was in a great location in center city Philadelphia. The staff was overall friendly and helpful, and although it was very upscale, it was still pretty family friendly.”

“Excellent downtown hotel with wonderful seafood restaurant (sole food). Staff is very professional - concierge went the extra mile. Easy check-in and check-out. Room was clean and attractive. Modernist architecture of the building was impressive.”

“As excited as I was to visit the Loews Hotel, I have to admit that I left disappointed. The visit was a surprise birthday gift for my partner and it certainly didn't WOW either one of us like I had expected. I was let down by the loud inside noises and the small footage of the room.”

“The hotel is in an excellent location. Staff is competent and helpful, but I would not describe them as friendly. Housekeeping was a disaster. Two lights in the room did not work. The remote control did not work, it seemed to need batteries. They didn't leave enough bath supplies, so we called and asked for more and let them know we needed to shower and make it to an appointment. It took three calls and 45 minutes to get our items, which were then partially not what we'd asked for. On the plus side, the hotel allows pets, which, while we did not bring any this time, is a huge asset. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a warm feeling (perhaps due to limited lighting). I would call this an upscale 3 star hotel, because it did not feel deluxe like other 4 stars we've stayed at. In all honesty I would prefer to stay somewhere else next time, but the pet policy just might get us back.”

“Weekend getaway that was very relaxing. Nice pool & exercise facilities. The room was very comfortable & clean. The staff was extremely accommodating & courteous. Room service was prompt & delicious, although a little pricey. Try to avoid bringing a car if you can, as the parking is very expensive.”

“I was pleased with my stay and if I could, I would go back again. The hotel pool is the only thing I would suggest an improvement on, since it looked really small and the water does not look that clean. But the hotel is good everywhere else.”

“Although this hotel was a 4 star hotel, there was no ice in several floors of this hotel, when I called the front desk for ice I was told that some would be brought up and none was never delivered. There was some marks on my bed sheets and I asked for a change of sheets and that was not done either. The coffee machine inside my room was broken and never replaced.”
