“I traveled to Philadelphia with my 14 year old son. Parking was reasonable across the street. The room was clean and staff was very friendly & helpful. The neighborhood was safe and in easy walking distance of anywhere in the city center. We had a great time!”

“Many extras in the room including Microwave, large screen TV though limited number of stations, small refrigerator, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, digital locking safe, clock radio, good breakfast and conveniently located. Very small room, street noise, quirky very tiny elevator and AC controlled by hotel - no way to regulate. Several ethnic places to eat nearby. Starbucks on the corner.”

“The hotel was centrally located, clean, comfortable and friendly. It was also just a wee bit quirky and had its own personality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.”

“I would never suggest this hotel to anyone. I called and asked to have a room with 2 beds. He refused unless I paid an additional. He did have one available, though. The room had garbage on the floor. Halls very small. Rooms very small. Bathtubs dingy. Just bid a little higher and get a two star. I actually got a 3 star for cheaper a week later. I extended the trip. To be fair. The location is great and if you stay at this hotel you can park across the street. That is an excellent price in Philly.”

“The hotel is in a great location. You have a garage right across the street for your car and you get a discount if staying at this hotel. Now for the problems. One, no air conditioning in your room, you have to share with the floor and it gets hot quick. Two, the elevator can be difficult; the building is 104 years old after all. Lastly, the TV is digital, but can also be frustrating to use because the channels just repeat and my remote just stopped working. Overall, for the value you can't beat it. We walked the whole time we were there, and the hotel is in a prime location for that. The staff is pretty friendly as well. Good hotel for the cost.”

“The hotel itself was nice for staying in the historic section of the city. The parking is in a ramp across the street from the hotel. We arrived in a down pour and were told we could unload our luggage. We were not out of the car 5 minutes and when we returned to park the car we had a parking ticket for $41.00. What a way to start our vacation.”
