Alexander Inn [Philadelphia, PA]- Hotel Reviews

The Alexander Inn is one of those wonderful newly restored boutique hotels that seem to have given thought to your every need. It's located in downtown Philadelphia, just off the entertainment and shopping areas. It's only minutes away from the Avenue of the Arts, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Antique Row and the Historic Independence Hall area. A warm and friendly hotel where good taste and artwork abounds, its rooms are designed to reflect the great cruise ships of the 30's in fabrics, furnishings and decor. The amenities one expects are all there, from large fluffy towels to hairdryers. Their television offerings are several complimentary movie channels plus sports and many other favorites. In addition there is a fitness center, a complimentary guest E-mail computer center. A large breakfast buffet that is complimentary includes fresh baked goods, as well as yogurt, cereals and more. With discounted nearby indoor parking, very reasonable rates and a staff of friendly employees, it's become the favorite of many travelers.

The staff was awesome and made us feel right at home. The room had a wonderful view of the skyline. Beautiful artwork was everywhere!

“The Alexander Inn was truly a treat. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Our room was on the top floor and had a great view of the Philadelphia skyline. Really nice artwork adorned the wall; very classy. The continental breakfast included cereals, bagels, English muffins, Danish, juice, fresh fruit and yogurt and was pleasantly presented. I can't praise the Alexander enough!”

Great Boutique Hotel as advertised!

“I found this hotel in Fodor's Guide! It was friendly, clean, well appointed and reasonably priced when all the other hotels were over the top! I was made to feel almost like family, with suggestions on sightseeing , restaurants and local favorites. I would recommend it!”

It was recommended and it was true! Clean , Friendly, reasonable and well located.
I didn't find any!

“This is a great facility, Not like the big chains. Well decorated and a Great Breakfast Buffet is included in the price. A short walk to the Historic sights of Philly. Will definitely reccomend to my friends and family.”
