• Friendly staff, clean, centrally located.
• I wish the hotel could arrange for a discount on nearby parking facility. Other hotels in Philadelphia do this.

“Beautiful old lobby that reflects the building's past as the City Hall Annex. Very pleasant staff. Very nice selection at the breakfast buffet.”

• The hotel was very convenient to the historical attraction via walking or public transportation.
• Paying $40/night to park a car.

“This hotel was great. Very convenient to the sites. Close enough to walk or if tired a quick bus ride home. The staff was very courteous, friendly and full of helpful information. Our room was very clean and tidy. I have already recommended this hotel to friends.”

• Friendly staff. Great location.
• Breakfast buffet was too expensive (17.95) for food that wasn't very good.

“Excellent location. Near Convention Center, Reading Terminal. Plenty of mass transit options - Broad Street Line (Orange), Green Line (trolleys), Blue Line. A little run down. Food options aren't great. But room was clean. Staff friendly/helpful.”

• 2nd room was more appropriately sized.
• Overcharged, wrong room 1st night, hairdryer broken.

“1st night gave us wrong room, small beds, had to tip bellboy for bags, cot, replacement of broken hairdryer, extra blanket, etc, had to tip valet even though valet tip is included in nightly rate. They charged me for hotel restaurant even though we never ate there. I truly got tipped out from this experience.”

• Parking not convenient. Even valet took 20 minutes to get my car.

“Pleasantly surprised. On a very busy street but in the heart of downtown. It was very clean, rooms were very comfortable and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Good for a business trip not for vacation.”

• We enjoyed the fact that the hotel had an indoor swimming pool, in fact, it was a criteria in selecting the hotel.
• Walls in room not appealing, no decorations, bathroom was not very clean, condiments in room not adequate.

“When taking a general look at the hotel room, everything appears perfect, but when paying attention to detail (ex: cleanliness in bathroom) everything becomes a whole lot less appealing. Still, we had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves a lot.”

“It's an exceptional hotel for its price, location, and as a hotel in general. The bathroom countertop was kind of small, and decor was a bit listless. I'd definitely stay there again. The $40 valet is outrageous!”
