  • Good location. Pleasant lobby.
  • No pool. Small rooms. No bathtub. One working elevator.

“Club Quarters is a well located, largely self service hotel appropriate for a business traveler.”

  • Location downtown 10 min walk from convention centre.
  • Parking offside. No designated area to park while offloading or.

“I'd stay here again. Located downtown in a safe area. Walk to convention centre.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Extremely friendly staff - clean, quiet, cozy, second floor lobby.
  • Small rooms, no hotel parking and they don't validate.

“We stayed over New Year's and only one elevator was working, but the staff was more than accommodating offering to bring luggage or other items up later. Automated check-in was not working well when we got there either, but again the staff was right there to help! Filtered water on each floor was a really nice touch, so was having hand sanitizer almost everywhere you looked in common areas. Second floor lobby was elegant and comfortable with plenty of semi-private computers available for guest use as well as cozy seating to chat or read. Having the lobby on the second floor also made it nice for non-smokers to relax without the smell of smoke coming in from outside. (I'm a smoker and even I appreciated the non-smoking environment!) Rooms are small, but not uncomfortable. I'd call them cozy. Bathrooms don't have tubs, but if you're a business traveler or only there for a night or two, it's not a bad thing. The adjustable shower heads were handy. Fitness center on the 12th floor was nice, clean and I didn't feel self conscious at all. Room service is very pricey, which isn't unexpected, but there are excellent restaurants so close by that it's completely unnecessary. The main entrance is a bit hard to find because it's so low-key and understated. Parking is completely - buyer beware - as there is no hotel parking and they do not validate! Street noise might be a problem for light sleepers or someone looking for privacy. But we were aware that we were right downtown in Center City so we didn't find it unexpected.”

“Very small room, hot water not hot enough, staff very arrogant, difficult to access from the street.”

  • Very private and comfortable. It felt like a VIP hotel.
  • The lobby and lounge area were freezing cold. It was as if we were sitting outside in the street.

“Great overall hotel. Feels very private and "VIP" quality. Free wireless internet is a big plus. Only downside would be finding a place to park. Parking garages can be expensive and they destroy your car sometimes. Again, overall a great find.”

  • Quiet, comfortable, lobby with variety of sitting areas, complementary snacks and beverages in lobby nice.
  • Automated check in/out machines did not work properly but staff was ready to assist, no bell hop - lobby on second floor.

“Some confusion about where to park as no indication before arriving, but delightful sense of added security and elegance because lobby was not on street level. Lots of young, respectful people using facility, amenities seemed more than adequate with bottled water appliance on each floor - 12 floors plus busy Penthouse floor with meeting rooms.”

  • The location was perfect and
    it makes shopping convenient.
  • The cost of parking is always a problem in big cities.

“The rooms are quite small, but designed well, which made them functional.”

  • Great location, good and fair price for star rating, very friendly and helpful staff, clean.
  • I could hear loud pipes from bathrooms of hotel rooms above or below me.

“I would stay here again or in another city. Very good experience overall, clean, safe, great location, helpful and knowledgeable staff, nice extras in common areas.”

  • The free water and bottles in the hallway.
  • The room was overrated.

“Hotel was ok....not worth the money to stay in downtown. would have prefered a better hotel on the outskirts. It was not what
I bargined for.”

  • The staff is always friendly.
  • They never have a receipt for my room, I have to get it from Priceline.

“Great inner City Hotel. Close to everything from shopping to dining, to site seeing. Just a wonderful hotel. Please note, if you try to make a reservation directly with the hotel, unless your company is a member of the hotel, they won't even talk to you. They will direct you to make your reservation on line with who ever you used to begin with.”

  • Excellent service.
  • Small room.

“Excellent hotel for traveling alone. It's not set up for a family.”

  • Location and amenities for the business traveler.
  • Extremely small rooms and excessive street noise.

“ The hotel had upgraded furnishings and was attractive throughout. Several public access computers were available in the lobby. Room size was extremely small, in fact the smallest of any hotel I have ever stayed in (including Motel 6). Street noise was excessive (honking, noisy people, etc.) and kept me up both nights of my stay. ”

  • Location.
  • Too small elevator (to get from entrance to lobby).

“Housekeeping staff did a great job. Loved the free bottled water machine!”

  • Tastefully appointed, cozy.
  • Thermostat was broken.

“Very nice hotel in the center of Philadelphia. Room was small, but nicely laid out. Staff was helpful. A reasonable room for a reasonable cost.”

  • Very nice lobby with good computer availability. Great location.
  • They put us in what was clearly a single room. One water glass, one washcloth, etc. Awful street noise on Saturday night.

“This hotel has a very nice and comfortable lobby with three computers available for free internet access. The hotel is clean and feels very safe since one must have a room key to access the upper floors. The location is wonderful, within walking distance of all the center city major sights, restaurants, shops, and the University of Pennsylvania. Take earplugs if you stay on Saturday night and request an interior room. We were on the 10th floor, but the festival of honking, shouting, and partying on the street kept me up past 3:00
am even with earplugs!”
