“I'd stay here again. Located downtown in a safe area. Walk to convention centre.”

“We stayed over New Year's and only one elevator was working, but the staff was more than accommodating offering to bring luggage or other items up later. Automated check-in was not working well when we got there either, but again the staff was right there to help! Filtered water on each floor was a really nice touch, so was having hand sanitizer almost everywhere you looked in common areas. Second floor lobby was elegant and comfortable with plenty of semi-private computers available for guest use as well as cozy seating to chat or read. Having the lobby on the second floor also made it nice for non-smokers to relax without the smell of smoke coming in from outside. (I'm a smoker and even I appreciated the non-smoking environment!) Rooms are small, but not uncomfortable. I'd call them cozy. Bathrooms don't have tubs, but if you're a business traveler or only there for a night or two, it's not a bad thing. The adjustable shower heads were handy. Fitness center on the 12th floor was nice, clean and I didn't feel self conscious at all. Room service is very pricey, which isn't unexpected, but there are excellent restaurants so close by that it's completely unnecessary. The main entrance is a bit hard to find because it's so low-key and understated. Parking is completely - buyer beware - as there is no hotel parking and they do not validate! Street noise might be a problem for light sleepers or someone looking for privacy. But we were aware that we were right downtown in Center City so we didn't find it unexpected.”

“Very small room, hot water not hot enough, staff very arrogant, difficult to access from the street.”

“Great overall hotel. Feels very private and "VIP" quality. Free wireless internet is a big plus. Only downside would be finding a place to park. Parking garages can be expensive and they destroy your car sometimes. Again, overall a great find.”

“Some confusion about where to park as no indication before arriving, but delightful sense of added security and elegance because lobby was not on street level. Lots of young, respectful people using facility, amenities seemed more than adequate with bottled water appliance on each floor - 12 floors plus busy Penthouse floor with meeting rooms.”

“Hotel was ok....not worth the money to stay in downtown. would have prefered a better hotel on the outskirts. It was not what
I bargined for.”

“Great inner City Hotel. Close to everything from shopping to dining, to site seeing. Just a wonderful hotel. Please note, if you try to make a reservation directly with the hotel, unless your company is a member of the hotel, they won't even talk to you. They will direct you to make your reservation on line with who ever you used to begin with.”

“ The hotel had upgraded furnishings and was attractive throughout. Several public access computers were available in the lobby. Room size was extremely small, in fact the smallest of any hotel I have ever stayed in (including Motel 6). Street noise was excessive (honking, noisy people, etc.) and kept me up both nights of my stay. ”

“This hotel has a very nice and comfortable lobby with three computers available for free internet access. The hotel is clean and feels very safe since one must have a room key to access the upper floors. The location is wonderful, within walking distance of all the center city major sights, restaurants, shops, and the University of Pennsylvania. Take earplugs if you stay on Saturday night and request an interior room. We were on the 10th floor, but the festival of honking, shouting, and partying on the street kept me up past 3:00
am even with earplugs!”
