• Location.
• Dirty room.

“The room was dirty. Seems they never steam clean the floor. Just walking on the carpet barefoot your feet get REAL dirty. The air conditioning in the room was not working. Very uncomfortable.”

• It was convenient.
• Over priced for race weekend.

“Hotel was clean and convenient. Next year we will skip the hotel on race weekend, hotels in the area keep raising the charge for this weekend. No longer worth the money.”

• Able to park by room that we stayed in.
• Room was small and did not supply enough shampoo, and soap.

“The hotel looked great from the out side but service was slow and not friendly, strange people roaming around front desk while waiting for service. It made you feel uncomfortable.”

• Staff was friendly and accommodating.
• Bathroom was disgusting with mildew all around the tub and gray dirt on the tub floor.

“This quality inn is convenient from the highway and close to destinations in the Pocono's. The staff quickly changed our room from smoking to non-smoking, but we didn't realize that the tub was so filthy until it was past our kids' bedtime. The room also seemed not to have been dusted for quite awhile. Horrible for allergy sufferers! We will not be returning.”

• Dining in the pool & bar area. Rooms with balconies.
• The A/C not working, windows don't open, room hot.

“Overall I had a pleasant stay. The pool area was great. I liked that they had rooms with balconies facing the pool. The service was ok. The only negative feedback is that the A/C was not working and the windows do not open. And no fans were available. Also I was told I had a room with a balcony and I did not. I asked to be moved but to no comply.”

• The only thing we liked about this hotel is that it is located near to attractions.
• The hotel staff and maintenance of hotel is not unto the mark.

“The hotel has very poor maintenance. Ramada Inn which is of same rating has much better facilities. The door locks were not working well. The lobbies had lot of bleach smell. Ceilings were falling everywhere. The Jacuzzi was leaking to next floor. They were supposed to serve continental breakfast but we ended up eating just bagels. The sheets were torn and the TV would not work. Overall staying in this hotel was an unpleasant experience.”

• The location of this hotel was perfect.
• This hotel was way overpriced. There were little ants in the bathroom. It was just acceptable.

“This hotel was overpriced. It's location was the only thing going for it. We visited on a weekend during which time the breakfast is NOT free. There were little ants in the bathroom. The pillows were VERY flat. This hotel would be okay if it was half the price.”

“My stay at the Clarion Hotel in Stroudsburg, PA, was one that pleased me in all respects, be it access from the highway to the area attractions, of which there are many. The facility was modern, neat and clean everywhere from the grounds, to the lounge, to the room, which offered a good bed, nice bath facilities, and an extraordinary tv with numerous cable channels. Their rates are very reasonable for this rather upscale commercial business community. I have stayed at other hotels in the area over the years, including the Clarion once before, and would be pleased to stay there anytime.”
