  • The bed! that was wonderful.
  • The staff, front counter was extremely rude and
I had to pay for parking which was not disclosed to me before hand.

“The hotel was in a good location, little inconvenient to get into and out of. The staff was rude but the pretzels in the lobby were nice. The bed was wonderful but room was on the small side. Hot Tub was nice, pool was small. Warning: you have to pay $12 a day for parking. Fairly nice but not a 3.5 star, more like 2.5.”

  • Entire hotel smelled bad, like they were cleaning each floor with chlorine.

“Overpriced and overrated (star). Small rooms, poor layout of bathrooms. Don't suggest more than 1 person to a room.”

  • Nice draft selection in bar (Shula's). Pool and hot tub were spacious.
  • $12 for parking in a suburban hotel near other hotels that offer free parking.

“Typical Marriott. Nice rooms. Nice lobby. Shula's Steakhouse/Bar was good. Overall, it was a good experience. Parking should be free this far outside of downtown Philly. And internet should be free as well.”

  • Philadelphia soft pretzels in the lobby.
  • Tacky extra charges.

“Okay hotel, but watch out for the extra charges - $12/night for parking, $13 per 24 hours for wireless internet service. Are you kidding me? I won't stay here again if I can help it. We got a good deal on the room, but can't help to the extra charges.”

  • Nice layout.
  • Bed was too soft and bad on back.

“A nice hotel and clean. Room was very clean and spacious. Would not recommend to anyone with back problem. Bed is much too soft.”

  • Most comfortable beds and housekeeping is excellent. Restaurant is great!
  • Nickel and dimes. Everything has a price at the hotel, including parking.

“The Marriott hotel was clean, neat, service was excellent, and the bedding was to die for. My room was cleaned daily and housekeeping even took it upon themselves to organize my toiletries (which were sprawled all over the sink). The service was beyond expectations, the concierge service was very helpful, and the in-house restaurant was great (try the breakfast)! Parking was $12 a day, internet was $10 a day, computer use in the business center was $0.99 a minute. It made things especially cumbersome (and expensive) for an ultra-light traveler without a laptop like myself.”

  • Very comfortable hotel.
  • Elevators were down in the morning.

“Short drive from Philadelphia, very clean and reasonably priced hotel. Shula's restaurant in the lobby with an excellent menu. Was a great experience.”

  • Rooms were nice and comfortable.

“Hotel was nice but and the room rate through Priceline was good but I was a little surprised that after the were committed we were charged and additional $24 to park.”

  • Very clean rooms.
  • Room layout awkward, shouldn't have to pay for parking.

“Overall not a bad stay. Short overnight for a morning wedding nearby, hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Arrived just after the restaurant had closed. Paid almost as much for parking as in hotels downtown-- pretty unreasonable for that area.”

  • Quiet room, sitting area.
  • Very busy.

“We were very pleased with the quality of the room, especially when the price was so reasonable. The room we were given was quiet and far removed from all the busyness downstairs.”

  • Clean and comfortable.
  • Extra cost for parking.

“Great location for our needs.”

  • Best mattress and bedding (comforters etc) experienced in 20 years of travel.
  • Tiny, under-equipped business center - way too small for a business-oriented hotel.

“Staff extremely attentive and friendly and the housekeeping department did not miss anything - very well done across the board. Shula's grill (downstairs) very pricey for the offerings, however. Not a good value.”

  • Parking fee
of $36 for 3 day stay!

“I will never stay in this hotel again, parking fee for an out door park your own vehicle is unacceptable.”

  • Convenient location and beautiful rooms.

“This was a great hotel! The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was terrific.”

  • I loved the comfortable beds, the cleanliness of the rooms and the air quality.
  • The pool area was not clean.

“The beds here are incredible. Very clean and comfortable. I stayed three days and 2 of them I spent in bed relaxing. The air quality was something I have never experienced at any hotel. I have sinus, allergy problems but not here. I usually cannot sleep well at a hotel with forced air. I usually end up most nights in the lobby because I have trouble breathing, but not here- I slept through the nite like baby. The pool area however was not so clean.”

  • I had an excellent breakfast in the dining room.
  • The chair in my room was unexceptably uncomfortable.

“This was a very well maintained property, but needs to be updated. The chairs in my room and the lobby are unexceptable, very uncomfortable. Very well located hotel. I had an excellent breakfast in the dining room. The rooms have inadequate lighting. Very hard to read a newspaper. On the whole I would give it a passing grade.”
