“As I entered the hotel, I was disturbed by how dirty and littered the carpet in the halls, stairway and foyer was. I was surprised that our room was nice and pretty clean which I certainly was glad about.”

“Horrible. Housekeeping staff was frightening, place was filthy, smelled and no locks on exterior doors. Deserted. Awful.”

“Could be nice if they would replace the fixtures and update the room. Several light bulbs were burned out and the closest ice machine was broken.”

“What made this worse for me was that five days before I had to stay in the same area on my way down to Washington DC. For the same exact price on the previous Friday I stayed at a Holiday Inn Select nearby. That hotel was worth the $$$; the Econolodge for the price was not - maybe had I not stayed at the Holiday Inn, I may have not disliked this place as much as I did; as a woman alone I even put a chair against my first floor (facing the pool) door in "fear" - the door looked as if it had been broken into before. Again, staff was pleasant, the hotel was trying to be something worthwhile, but I found it sleazy and I would not stay there again. Truly.”

“This economy lodge suited our purposes. It was a good price for a race weekend fifty miles away. It Is not really a problem to travel with a coffee pot and hairdryer but a clock In the room would have been nice. They could use higher wattage light bulbs too. We were surprised to return to the room having been gone all day to discover there had been no maid service. My complaint was met with a half hearted apology.”

“Nice lounge and fair continental breakfast, rooms were very dirty and in need of painting, also the bathroom was in need of upgrading.”

“This is probably the worst in the area. For the money you should be able to get something that's a little cleaner and modern. This place was one hair above a trucker's motel, but with far inferior cable TV selection.”

“If you need dirt cheap it is okay to stay at. Hopefully the non-smoking rooms smelled better than the smoking room did. The comforters had holes in them and the blankets were never changed. There was water on the heater in our room. I didn't feel safe in its location, it was at a dead end of a street near the Jersey Turnpike, and so it was noisy.”

“Not friendly welcome, not clean, bed sheets were old and had burned holes,... Quality Inn was not quality as all. No rating for this one!”
