• Quality of the room and furnishings.
• Very badly prepared breakfast.

“Convenient to I95 in Delaware. TGI Friday's restaurant delivers for room service and the food is just ok. Look elsewhere. Breakfast is a full cooked service or the usual dry cereal. The cooked breakfast was pretty bad. Great rooms, very nicely furnished. A good upscale hotel, one of the best in this area.”

• 2 TVs in 2 separate rooms, terrific breakfast buffet.
• Charge us $9.99 for internet, but didn't have internet charge posted.

“A comfortable bedroom and bath plus an extra living area with a desk, sofa, and second television. Located conveniently in the heart of Newark, this hotel is within walking distance of the University of Delaware and within an easy drive of restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices from cereal and fruit to breakfast meats, pastries. And even omelette's made to order. What a treat!”

• The price and the hotel was much better than I expected.
• We loved everything.

“This was a great experience. We were taking our grand daughter back to Boston and wanted a hotel with a pool. The hotel exceeded my expectations and I wish we could have spent a week there.”

• Great staff, complimentary reception and breakfast.
• Hotel was great.

“This hotel was perfect. Every thing was clean and the staff was friendly. At check in we were given a ticket for the managers reception that evening and for breakfast the next morning. Both were very nice. The beds were comfortable. Would stay again.”

• Two separate rooms offer privacy, comfort for me and my husband.
• Housekeeping could be better informed and coordinated.

“This is my favorite hotel in the area. This was our second stay. It is by far the best hotel for my husband and I. Two separate rooms means I can sleep while he watches TV, or vice-versa while I work. The business centre has great printers, fitness centre is brand new and very nice. The only downside on both trips was housekeeping. Both times they called us when the do not disturb sign was on the door. As a writer I work odd hours and both times was awakened for questions that should have been directed to the front desk (regarding our length of stay). The only other negative is the building design - all rooms are around a large open centre space. If there are a lot of people, the noise travels up. Overall, however, the hotel is a great place to stay. We hope to be back again soon.”

• Would like a better selection of food at the evening reception.

• Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Very attractive layout in general.
• Staff gave me bad information regarding shuttle availability when I called pre-book.

“The hotel is beautiful! Very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing overall. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, etc. The beds are very comfortable! The big issue was the fact that my girlfriend and I stayed at this location primarily for the availability and accessibility of the comp shuttle. We were told prior to booking by a staff member at the hotel that we would have no problem having a shuttle come pick us up from our wedding reception around 11:30 or midnight. The staff member was wrong, they were lying or they were just stupid. The shuttle drops us off at the reception at around 7 or so and informs us that we will not have a ride back to the hotel unless we find it ourselves. Evidently, the shuttle actually stops around 10:30, much to our chagrin and dissatisfaction.”

• It was very clean and nice.
• I liked everything.

“Hotel staff was very friendly and quickly provided items for me that I had forgotten to pack (toothbrush, toothpaste). The hotel has an automatic checkout so that you do not even have to stop at the desk on the way out. It was a great experience.”
