• Nice location and the staff was very helpful.
• We had no ho water or water at all in our wing for more than 5 hours.

“Over all very nice just wish we did not have to demand a room in another wing to take showers in.”

• The bed, linens, and towels were very good.
• Dark hallways, exposed HVAC pipes (renovation?), worn hallway carpet.

“Although the rooms were quite nice, the rest of the facility was pretty run down. The hallways were dark, walls needed repair, and the carpeting was worn and stained. In the hallway in front of our room, ceiling tiles had been removed exposing the HVAC. It looked like some renovation was underway, but I don't know how much improvement was planned.”

• The lobby was nice. Close to local attractions
• Needed serious updating, wallpaper peeling, carpet dirt & worn.

“Good location in Reading area. Staff friendly and helpful. Lobby is beautiful but room and hallways were in need of total renovation, peeling wallpaper everywhere, dirty and worn carpets, poorly maintained. Pool area looked dirty tired, spa was gone, covered with wood. I guess it cost too much to fix. Our room had crumbs all over the carpet when we arrived, I guess their vacuums are in need of repair too. Fix it up and manage your cleaning and maintenance staffs properly and you'll earn the 3-3.5 stars.”

• The area of this hotel was wonderful we was in the middle of a mall and there was my favorite restaurant, The Red Lobster. I had a wonderful stay.
• There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

“This hotel was clean, the area where it is located was wonderful for shopping and enjoying the evening with you mate. I told my friend all about our stay.”

• Very accommodating. Great staff. Overall good experiance.
• Overcrowded parking situation. Not enough handicaped parking.

• Bedding was very comfortable. Large public spaces; nicely decorated.
• Restaurant too pricey for me. Can be a long walk to get to your room.

“I missed the entrance off the side road because it wasn't clearly marked but was then able to get to the main entrance without any problem. I had a 2-double-bed room, which also included a recliner that could be used for an extra person. Friday night's Chocolate Fountain was nicely laid out with fresh dippers; this was unexpected and very enjoyable. Nice uncrowded small pool, even on the weekend. May not be good for families with young children, but ok for older, well-behaved kids. Highly recommended.”

• Indoor pool & our room had direct outside access.
• No refrigerator in room/noisy/took 2 calls & several hrs later to get extra cot requested.

“Nice room for the price & has a nice indoor pool (which I wish was open past 10 PM). Staff was very nice. Room was clean!”

• Very clean. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi were very nice.
• Carpeting was a little stained and should be replaced or cleaned.

• Nice indoor pool area.
• The room has a smaller bathroom sink area than what we're used to.

“This is the second time we stayed at the Sheraton in Reading. It was great! During the evening hour on Monday they had a chocolate fountain going in the lobby and it's something different every night! The room was nice - It had two double beds which would have been nice to be queens if the room was a little bigger. The desk in the room was very large and nice for a business traveler. We didn't eat at the restaurant or bar on site but they both looked nice. There is room on site that they have a comedy show on the weekends as well. The indoor pool area was large and has a coffee station available right there. We would definitely stay again!”

• Great location, great breakfast, nice pool.
• Not enough towels/washcloths.

“We were greeted with welcome to the fabulous Reading Sheraton. It was, expect that housekeeping gave us no washcloths or hand towels; only three full sized towels. Also, the pool did not have available any towels to dry off with; we had to use our precious supply of full sized towels from the room. The public areas and room were all very clean and attractive and the pool was very nice. Great buffet breakfast available also. All in all I recommend for a trip to Reading.”

• The pool facility was beautiful.
• The wallpaper in my room was a bit warped.

• Evening activities in the lobby were interesting.
• Hotel is in need of remodeling, hallways are musty smelling.

“Location was excellent and staff was very helpful and friendly. I liked the activities they had in the lobby every night. Overall the hotel is in dire need of remodeling. Very old looking and musty smelling.”

• Clean lobby, quick check-in.
• Hallway and room dirty. Dirty carpet.

“The lobby and common areas were very nice. Once you past that area it was all downhill. Hall carpeting dirty. Food trays in hall. Went for a soda, tried 3 floors, all soda machines were sold out. This was probably the dirtiest place that I ever stayed at.”

• Service in lounge was terrible.

“This was a great place to stay and the staff was very friendly. The only negative was when I went into the lounge for a drink, I could never get service. After waiting about 10 minutes or so, I just walked out and went back to my room.”

• Nice lobby, friendly staff.
• Rooms are worn, tile dirty in bathrooms, no soap first night in bathroom.

“I have stayed at this hotel several times, rooms show signs of wear, carpet in rooms generally worn, always hair in bathroom floors and tubs. Beds are very comfortable, staff is very friendly, decent workout room and hotel is located in a good area of town.”
