  • Beach!
  • Very tiny rooms and bathroom.

“The hotel was fine for business travel because I did not spend much time in the hotel. For sleeping it was good, but for hanging out it was not good.”

  • I like that when I was unsatified with my room I was moved to the 8th floor nicer room.
  • I did not like it that I was put in a handicap room and I am not handicap. Also that the staff took so long to change my room.

“This hotel is on the perfect locate on the beach. It was very clean and nice. I really enjoyed the valet parking. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.”

  • Very nice beachfront rooms, great staff, much nicer than expected, I won't hesitate to stay again.
  • Bathroom setup was awkward with the way the door opened, but that's the only thing I noticed, everything was great!

“I was very surprised how nice the hotel was when my girlfriend and I arrived. The valet guys were great, front desk was very friendly, and the guest services gave us discounted tickets to Busch Gardens (small discount but better than none). Our room was very nice and the king size bed was the ultimate in comfort. This will be the first hotel I look for when I return to VA beach.”

  • Location to beach.
  • A rock band playing at 6 am, and the hotel didn't warn us before checking in.

“The front desk was rude. They hosted a music festival that played below my room until midnight and resumed at 6 am. The road was blocked off so we were forced to stay additional time and the hotel charged us for leaving late. The room was the size of a motel room, the sink was outside the bathroom.”

  • The view was incredible.
  • The parking attendants.

“Overall the hotel was beautiful beyond words. The room was clean expect the bathroom. The view was magnificent. the entertainment was great in restaurant. I would definitely visit hotel again.”

  • Other then the room we stayed in The hotel looked clean.
  • Bathroom floor wasn't clean, coffee pot was dirty, and the maid was very rude and the air conditioner didn't work right and they had a band playing.

“They had a band playing so loud you had to blast the TV. Thank God I didn't have a headache or small children. There was no air in the elevators and hallways. If you had to be there for a long time you would pass out from the heat. If you can't check in until 4pm then you should not have to check out until later. When I pay for a hotel, I expected to be able to stay in the hotel for long.”

  • I liked the decor of the renovated rooms and the in house restaurant.
  • They forgot to add screens to balcony doors to keep out the bugs.

“Overall its a good hotel for the price. If you like, Sushi the in house restaurant (mahi-mah's) is great. The hotel service is good and friendly.”

  • To noise, bad sliding door, loose cable.

“Loose cable, and skipping singles, hard to sleep, and we wear on the 5th floor.”

  • Beautifully remodeled.
  • The parking garage was across the street, and the hallways were not air conditioned because they had once been open walkways.

“It was just recently remodeled. Very tastefully so. It was a good place to stay. I didn't like that the parking garage was across the street and slightly behind another building, but they had a valet. No complaints, really.”

  • Our stay was everything I had hoped for.
  • I wish the room would have had a small fridge to keep medicine and drinks in.

“The view from our room was worth the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at Mahi Mah's was delicious. Had a great time overall.”

  • I liked that the location of the hotel, was on the beach and enjoyed the beach views.
  • The hotel staff was not good to deal with at all. One person told you one thing and another something totally different.

“I knew I would be staying in Virginia Beach for only a day. I asked for a good room. They put me in a room directly next to the soda machine and the TV which was an HD had a very fuzzy picture. I asked for a room change and got no towels in the new room. Additionally, one of the staff called and woke me up from a dead sleep the next morning in error thinking she was talking to the maid service. Needless to say, my next stay in Virginia Beach won't be at the Ramada on the beach!”
