• Great view of the beach/ocean.
• The hallways were not air-conditioned.

• The hotel is located at the edge of the boardwalk. And the beach is really close.
• There is nothing I didn't like about the hotel.

“Staff is friendly. When checking in, I was asked if I would like a room on the ND floor rather than 1st floor. Hotel is located about half way point of boardwalk and makes walking to either end of boardwalk easy.”

• Right on the beach and in the center of the boardwalk.
• Hotel needs updating and the room smelled heavy of smoke.

“This hotel has a great location on the boardwalk over looking the ocean with its own parking deck. My husband, 9 years old and I felt pretty safe. I did not see any bugs however, the "non smoking" room smelled terrible of smoke. There was a lot of noise from other guests late at night out on the balcony. The free breakfast had waffles which our son loved but there was no fresh fruit or yogurt or anything even remotely healthy. The staff was wonderful!”

• Price did not match/reflect up scale accommodations.

“People were generally friendly, other guests did not follow non-smoking area rules. Convenient to beach and local attractions.”

• Great location to beach and dining.
• Small dirty rooms slow elevator.

“The rooms were small and dirty. There was only one elevator and it was slow. The location is good to beach and dining. If I go back to Virginia Beach, I would most likely not stay at this hotel.”

• It was a great place. I would return anytime, the view was great of the beach.
• I can't, it was great.

• Enjoyed the breakfast room, the food was fresh and delicious, room was clean and tidy.
• We liked the hotel, except the way to travel to parking garage.

• No movie selection, no free bike, so so breakfast.

“The location is excellent, easy to find. Good view of the beach. No movie channels and few breakfast selections.”

• It was on the oceanfront and close to the nightlife.

“The room was clean, but needs some renovation work. It does not appear that they put much money back into general maintenance of the rooms, especially considering their room rates.”

• Staff was very friendly and eager to please and they had a locking gate for the parking deck. I liked that.
• I had a smoking room that didn't have an ashtray.

“In Va. Beach the location is great and there is a lot going on around that area. You feel very secure because of all the police on bikes and in cars.”
