• Location to the beach and boardwalk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The restaurant was overpriced and the food was not that great.

“I would stay at the Courtyard Marriott again, but not eat at the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was nice, but overpriced for what we got. My kids loved the swimming pool, but it was very small. Would have been nice to have an outdoor pool.”

“The hotel is on the boardwalk overlooking the beach. On or off season it's a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Rooms are attractive and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

• The staff at the front desk was great and the restaurant staff was great and the location was awesome.

  few things were broke in the room and it was not as clean as it should have been.

“The room sliding door still had hand prints and face prints on it, the shower curtains were great added more room to move, the water pressure was good and the hotel staff were the best, very friendly and treated us with great respect. The food was ok, restaurant mainly for convenience.”

• Beautiful hotel, all rooms are ocean front.
• Heated indoor swimming pool was freezing.

“Wonderful hotel, but one of the main reasons we went to Virginia Beach in November was the indoor pool and hot tub. We got different excuses from everyone we talked to about why the pool was freezing cold, but it did not seem to be high on the priority list of any of the staff. Even the hot tub was broken Saturday night, though it was working Friday night.”

• Everything! The view,
  the front desk guy, the little market where you can get ice cream. Everything!
• The indoor pool was about 10 degrees too cold, but the hot tub was great.

“Loved it! Best location on the strip and the front desk is an amazing manager. Even when I returned two days after I left to see if I left my phone charger, he knew, without looking, my first and last name and the room number I stayed in! My boyfriend really liked how friendly he was as well. I really felt like they appreciated our business and looked forward to a return stay. I will probably make this my hotel of choice for every visit to VB, and there will be many! Don't let this hotel fool you though. The Courtyard just up the street does not have a staff even close to Courtyard south. This hotel rocks!”

• Boardwalk in front, beach, sand, sunset and sunrise.
• Room was not clean and coverlet had stains.

“Arrived about 2pm. Had a room on the 4th floor or handicap room on the 9th. Staff was very friendly. It was my first time visiting Virginia Beach, the hotel was conveniently located. Oktoberfest was just down the street.
”

• The view of the ocean and the balcony outside of the room.
• The Saturday breakfast buffet. Too expensive.

“The hotel was great, very neat and clean. Great location! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place to my friends.”

• Staff friendly.
• Room dirty. Rug needed vacuuming and dust was quarter inch thick on furnishings.

“Ok for a seacoast area. Staff friendly. Room hadn't been dusted in months. Rugs dirty. Management need to be inspecting these rooms more often. No excuse for that much dust to collect without someone noticing!”

• Wonderful staff, good view of the ocean.
• Room service ended at 9:30.

“We loved our king suite. The rooms were beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“I enjoyed my stay however I would not recommend the room service. My food took about an hour and my soup was cold and nachos were stale by the time they arrived.”

“This hotel is in a convenient location to everything that's at the beach. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”
