• The view of the ocean.
• We did not get maid service, they skipped our room by mistake.

“The view of the ocean and the room were very nice, but the staff left a little to be desired. First, one of the desk workers said they would call my cell when the room was ready, but they forgot. Then the maid forgot to clean our room.”

• The room itself wasn't too fancy, but the ocean view was wonderful.
• The rooms looked a little outdated, but it was clean so I can't complain.

• Wonderful, friendly helpful staff even the gentleman with the refuse cart was a gentleman!
• Nothing.

“I was very impressed by the staff. They were friendly and courteous, and I got the impression that they loved their work. The hotel was immaculate, its public areas tastefully-decorated and cleverly designed. My room was comfortable and well designed with a wonderful view of the ocean.”

• The lobby was beautiful and the bed was very comfy.
• No complaints.

• Close walk to the beach.
• Everything else.

“Where shall I begin? First, all of the other negative reviews are spot- on and not to sound snobby, but the other reviewers must not travel much. This is the worst Marriott I've ever been to and don't even have the space to tell everything that went wrong, but here's a short list: -electrical problem caused Laptop, blow-dryer, and light bulbs to blow out, no offer to do anything about the damage. -had to call and ask in person for a simple box of tissues 4 times-housekeeping never properly cleaned or restocked rooms. Left 3 towels for 4 people everyday. Elevators slow and over-used by employees. Some even used it to go to the second floor instead of using the stairs. Outdoor pool freezing -In door pool with a film floating on top and suds in the hot tub, no supervision to the young kids with any parents watching. -no cups or hot water for the complimentary hot tea & coffee service, not attentive at all and we are platinum members. They actually even turned off the electricity to the room while I was in the shower. No breakfast room service (and expensive in the cafe)-Ordered room service once and had to call down twice because they messed it up. Seriously, there are way better hotels and probably cheaper, too. Don't waste your time or money on this place. Don't do what we did stew over the wasted money on the hotel when there were so many nice ones around. Shame on Marriott, this place was the worst.”

• Great view and it was a lovely hotel.
• Restaurant was lousy.

“The hotel was GREAT! It was right on the beach and the pools were fun. Skip the restaurant the food as too salty and the service left much to be desired. I'll definitely go back.”
