• not too far from the beach with car, 20 mins walk is acceptable.
• it is time for a face lift, things geting too old.

“I read the common before leaving, it is all negertive,get scared but can't refund, so I brought plastic sheets and ready to deal with bad situation, but there has no bed bugs, and the room was acceptable, but this hotel needs a touch up, things are all old.”

• The proximity to the Convention Center - two blocks away.
• Outward appearance is a bit grungy.

“If you need to have access to the Virginia Beach convention center, this hotel is two blocks away, which was perfect for me as a participant in the Rock 'N Roll Half Marathon. The trappings are not luxurious; they are modest. Everything was clean; hotel personnel were most helpful. Easy access to and out of town; has pool and free Wi-Fi; microwave, and refrigerator. Great for traveling on a budget, in a safe area. Enjoyed our stay. Should not be put off by the outward appearance which is not dazzling; just modest. Would recommend.”

• No pillowcases, towels left lint on us, noisy, room smelled bad.

“Tricky to return to with one way street! Very noisy at night, (10pm to 11:30pm). Near Military so jets fly over hotel all the time. The front desk clerk finally brought pillowcases so we could go to bed!”

• Hotel was right off the interstate 264 and close to beach, about mile.
• Dirty, not a good value, no continental breakfast or any workout center.

“Hotel was conveniently located off Interstate 264 and only about mile from the beach. There were weeds in the parking lot and the property was poorly maintained. There was no continental breakfast or any workout center. Stairways were poorly maintained as was the exterior of the hotel. Rooms had plenty of room, a TV and a microwave. Room was somewhat dirty, hair on the bathroom floor, dried soap on the counter and mold on shower curtain. There was trash on the carpet near the beds. This hotel was definitely not worth the price and I would never stay here ever again.”

• The staff was very friendly.

• Elevator to third floor needed updating.

“I highly recommend this hotel to my friends. It was a quick walk to the beach, room was clean and quiet, and the staff was excellent.”

• The majority of the rooms are double beds. I wanted a single queen room.

• It's a 1 star motel, clean room, nice size pool, small restaurant on site, easy access to the main highway.
• The blankets, bring your own.

“Too far from the beach if you have small children that can't walk a mile or so after a whole day at the beach. We just wanted a place to sleep and go the beach, and that's what we got.”

• Location was great, close to beach and entertainment, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.
• Bed and pillows were low quality and the TVs don't have remotes or on-demand features.

“It is about 5 blocks from the beach/boardwalk area. So a short walk of less than a mile puts you out at the ocean or on the main road with tons of restaurants, shops, etc. Free parking, and good rates on rooms. The beds, pillows, etc are not high quality. The TVs are older, and do not have features such as on-demand movies or movie channels so don't expect much out of your room due to both of these things. Great staff, very friendly.”

• It was sort of isolated, right next to big convention center.

• Had everything I needed at a cheap price.
• Windows looked directly into the sink area.

“Very nice place to stay. Not quite as close to the boardwalk as other hotels around, but for the price it can't be beat. Stayed there for the Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon and it was perfect because the start area was at the exhibition center across the street.”

• It was centrally located but yet away from hectic traffic.
• Towels, if you are sun burned they can get a little rough.

“For the rates it was a nice hotel for a few nights. The pool was awesome, and the service was exceptional. I would recommend this hotel, especially for anyone that may have small children; it was just far enough away from the hectic part of the beach but close enough to walk.”
