“Overall a nice hotel with 3-star, not 3.5-star finishes although it does have many of the 3.5-star amenities. Bed was comfy, warm cookie-bravo, nice staff. A/c was loud and low-tech. Some items in bathroom details were low-end or worn out and in stark contrast with the rest of the nice things. Like a Mercedes with hub caps. Not critical but noticeable.”

“I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for three-star accommodations. The room was rather small, and the bathroom facilities were in dis-repair. There was no complimentary breakfast (you can find this amenity at a Hampton). My entire experience was a complete disappointment! I would not recommend this Doubletree to anyone unless you only need a place to lay your head.”

“ Hotel is located 8 blocks from beach, it took us 30 minutes to walk each way. Hotel is pet friendly, and many had pets which made the hotel and room smell like them. Staff is friendly and responsive in times when negative situations arise. Decent restaurant-kind of expensive, but not many people so no lines. ”

“We must have gotten put on the floor where they put all the people with pets because barking dogs woke me up a couple of times. We've stayed at this hotel before and had a fridge and microwave in the room but this time they weren't in the room which is a major bummer for us.”

“The Doubletree was a real surprise to me. The room was fantastic except for not having a microwave or frig in the room. Those would be a great asset. Would like the shuttle to run a longer season. Maybe the whole month of September. Some guests would like a hot tub.”

“This hotel is NOT anywhere near the beach, a fee for internet, bathroom is very small, pool was cold, no jacuzzi, no micro or frig in room, two DOUBLE beds, very poor experience.”

“This was a very nice hotel in its time. The rooms need to be updated. The staff is very good at what they do. The restaurant was below standard. The food for breakfast buffet was cold and had no taste.”

“The hotel lobby and restaurant very nice and clean, Pool water very nice, however area not clean crumbs on tables , towels left on chairs no attendant...Room was nice, bathroom door paint scraped of and vainer coming off, Ceiling had a previous leak and was partially painted....Elevators needed to be cleaned and swept also lobby areas for each floor needed to be sweep and need attention”

“This was a great hotel. We enjoyed the friendly shuttle service to the beach and our room was quiet, clean and large. They did not have a fridge in the room we were given two double beds (not our favorite choice for a romantic get a way).”

“I was unsure about being 8 blocks from the beach, but the shuttle bus every 30 minutes made the location ideal. Not only did we get a great deal on the room, I felt calm, relaxed, and slightly secluded without feeling cut-off from fun activities.”

“Quality inn hotel, its dirty and poor. Don't have housekeeping service and so far from the beach area. Plus have swimming pool next to restaurant (kitchen). Its very bad experience.”

“This is definitely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. What a complete disappointment. For starters, our room was not serviced at all - I don't mean not serviced well, I mean nobody bothered to go in and do anything. When we called at around 6 pm, they did not have a record of our being there. Nothing worked in the so called business center and everything was for a fee. Every single moment, there were items on the hallways, be it towels, linens, trays, there was always something. The strange thing is that staff was trying to correct things when told (for example, some very nice fellow showed up to clean our room within 5 minutes) but the hotel is badly managed. This has absolutely nothing to do with other doubletree properties I have stayed in the past.”

“Very disappointed. We arrived with AC not working. They didn't change our room but ask us to wait for their engineer to come to fix it. The fridge is broken too. We requested for replace but the staff asked us to call back and checked frequently instead of holding one for us. Room condition is bad too.”
