• The staff was very helpful and the small gift bags on the beds were a unique and useful touch.
• Needs outdoor swimming pool and lighting.

• The Staff was wonderful to us!
• The elevators were having technical issues while we were there.

“This is my second time here in the last two months
to Virginia Beach and this Crowne Plaza! I love it and Priceline! I did not like my first room, but the staff put me in a the room I truly wanted within minutes, i.e. bigger bed and with a fridge. Great pool, hot tub, restaurant, early morning coffee and everything very clean!”

• The location was great. Staff was very friendly.
• Pool was cold; workout room equipment was updated. 18 and older in workout area was not enforced.

“The location to all of Virgina Beach was great. The hotel lobby is attractive. Concierge level does not offer breakfast amenities on weekends a disappointment. A large group of teens were on the property and made the common areas unpleasant, particularly when trying to workout. The hotel staff should have been proactive so that the kids were not disruptive to other guests.”

• The staff was very courteous, amenities were excellent.

“The hotel has a wonderful welcoming setting to it. When you first walk through the lobby to the check-in area, you feel like you are at home. The staff was great and very helpful and the amenities were superb. Definitely a perfect place for both business and leisure travelers.”

• The room wasn't very clean.

“The cleaning crew needs to pay more attention to picking up trash and dirt left by previous guests. The staff was friendly but not overly knowledgeable about the area.”

• Terrible service from the front desk.

“Hotel has a wonderful location. 10 minutes to VA Beach and about 20 minutes to Sand bridge Beach. Rooms were comfortable and beds were nice. Bathrooms were a bit dingy, and the front desk service was terrible. They had no idea where things were, how to get to places etc. Rude too.”

• The pool was nice.
• The hot tub was nasty, the air conditioner was broken, and ice machine was old.

“The hotel seemed nice, but then again the hot tub was nested once started and the air conditioner was broken upon arrival. The room was not ready at 3 at check in time. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The buffet was pretty good. Overall it was a decent stay.”

• The manager, front desk, and dining room staff was very accommodating and friendly.
• There was an article of clothing left in the room that did not belong to me.

“I would stay at this hotel again. My room was spacious and inviting. The manager, front desk, and dining room staff was very accommodating and friendly. My sister, who is a part of the community surrounding this hotel, was as impressed as I, an out-of-towner. Overall, it was a very good experience for me.”

• The location was close to the interstate, restaurants and shops.
• The room was dirty and smelly. The food in the restaurant was terrible and so overpriced.

“This was a terrible experience. The hotel lobby smelled like burned salami, the room smelled like mildew and the food was some of the worst I've ever had. The bathroom was filthy - moldy, dirty floors and looked like it had not been cleaned in between stays. We had already been moved between one room and another because the first had the refrigerator removed and decided to just wipe down everything before we used it. I will never stay in a Crowne Plaza again.”

• Located in busy area, close to everything, 15 minutes from the beach.
• I had a smoking room and had requested a non-smoking room.

“Beautiful lobby, cute little bar, room to relax in the lobby outside of the room. Room was upgraded, comfy bed and flat-screen television. Quite as well. No concerns about noise and disturbances. I was very happy. Well lit parking lot.”

• It was close to where we were celebrating New Year's Eve.
• Mold in the shower; you could here what sounded like leaking water from the room above.

“I guess overall the hotel was fine. We were given one of the Executive VIP Suites. However the tray from the previous guest was still outside of the door when my husband and I arrived. When we left for the evening I stopped at the front desk to tell them about the tray of left over food sitting outside our door. When we returned after midnight (7:30pm to 1:30am) the tray was still sitting there. Only at this point it was crawling with ants. There was even a couple in our bathroom sink. At least they had not infested the room.”

“Very convenient location. Easy access to the highway. I like the fact that I get a lot of space in the room for that price. Other hotels had less space than that for the same or higher price. Very friendly staff and quick service. I will stay there again in the near future.”

• Nice lobby, helpful staff and great movie selection.
• Our room was never serviced, the temp of the pool was 96 degrees and the hot tub was 85 degrees, the fitness center was not clean.

“Overall it was a nice hotel, however with all the lack of serviceability issues and being charged for 2 separate rooms which took 3 days to figure out with accounting, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.”
