• Everything was just fine.
• Nothing.

“After reading all the bad reviews about this hotel, my family (4 people), plus 6 other friends decided to take a chance and go there for Labor Day weekend. We just got back. So you know, we are glad to say that I have no idea where the bad reviews came from. The hotel is clean, (could use a little scrubbing in the bath tub), the bathroom is newly renovated, the hallways are clean. The staff is very courteous. Breakfast had a good variety of bagels, dough nuts, danishes,(all fresh), juice, milk, coffee and decaf. I have no complaints, this coming from a person that complains just about any hotel. It is great for the price. If you want a 5 star, pay the price.”

“The room was clean, but the bathroom was not modern. There was no hair dryer and there was corrosion around the faucet in the bathtub.”

• I enjoyed the pool, It was close to Dutch wonderland.
• The Beds were uncomfortable, and A.C. did not work.

“It was in a great location and around a lot of good food places. But the beds were not comfortable and the A.C. in the room did not work too well. And my kids enjoyed the pool.”

“This is an older hotel which has had a makeover, but still shows to be aged, and the bed was very firm. The hotel staff (clerk) was very friendly.”

“Location was not easy to find. Sign was not easily seen. Parking lot was confusing to navigate after dark. Needs more outside lights. Room was clean, but had a really musty odor.”

• Location is near loads of shopping, very near "Amish Countryside".
• No shade, dismal parking lot.

“Housekeeping staff was wonderful; very quick to help. The hall and room were very clean, all the necessities were there. The pool looked welcoming. You just can't beat the location; right near Applebee's and Fuddruckers hamburger place and right at all the retail outlets of Rockville. Lots to do nearby.”

• In end unit and heard exterior doors shut as people went in and out in the a.m.

“Overall, decent place for a fair price. It was conveniently located and clean. It does not have the word Italian in the sign, so be careful you don't miss it. It says Roadway and is next to Applebee's. There is an outdoor pool.”

• No refrigerator or microwave in room.

“The hotel was neat and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and location was great. We travel to Lancaster, PA often and will stay there again.”

• Great location and nice outdoor pool.
• Mild odors in hallways.

“For just sleeping it was fine. It is not anything fancy and it was very affordable. The location was great. We could walk to three different restaurants and drive just a few minutes to other major attractions. For what we wanted it for (just a place to sleep) it was perfect. Staff was very friendly.”

• It served it's purpose for a place to sleep and shower.
• Someone parked in the spot in front of my door.

“It did what it was supposed to a place to sleep, shower and unwind after the parks and attractions. Stayed with the wife & 3 kids. Clean and comfortable enough. Seemed to be recent upgrades to the room we stayed in. Would recommend for the price.”

• Central location.
• Small room.

“Ok- they are renovating the rooms- ours was finished and in a new condition. They were helpful we ask if we could have a refrigerator for room, got one right away. When finished will be a great place to stay like it was years ago.”

• The location was good.
• It said it had in room movies but we didn't have that. Had a coffeemaker that was dirty and no coffee.

“Wouldn't recommend it to anybody, had coffeemaker that was dirty and nothing to go with it, and no in room movies like it said wasn't as clean as it should have been, really needs a new mattress but these rooms were supposed to be newly renovated.”

• It was close to the attractions I planned to attend.
• Needs to be renovated/brighter.

“Since I did not plan to spend much time in my room, it was alright. I think that the owner should attempt to make it a bit more attractive. In addition, after dusk, the side entrance door should be closed and locked. Patrons should have to use a room key card to gain entrance.”

• It smelled like an ashtray. It needs a makeover badly.

“We stayed one night and it was very scary. It was loud and the whole place smelled of smoke. I didn't even undress. We just waited until the sun came up so we could leave. It reminded me of a B movie. Would never stay here again. I would rather drive all night to go home or stay in my car.”

• Convenient location for our plans.
• Had no nonsmoking rooms available.

“Only had a one night stay. Room was clean bed was comfortable and there were two different size pillows on each side of bed. This was very important because one was almost flat just like home. On the down side the room needed cosmetic upgrades. Peeling wallpaper, cracked (big-time) counter on the vanity. Yes we would stay again, ”
