  • Horrible.
  • To long to state.

“Hotel was horrible. There was no elevator and our room was on third floor, the walk-ways smelled of beer, empty beer cans scattered about, our initial room did not have a working toilet, we were afraid to get in the bed because it looked like it had been slept in. In the second room we requested the refrigerator, was inoperable and we could not get any hot water to the bathroom sink. The first floor was closed due to construction, so sleeping in was impossible, we slept with a chair under the door because our room was double booked and another guest walked in to the room.”

  • It is a nice studio apartment. The price was good for what we needed.
  • We had to walk up to the 3rd floor. No elevator.

“The outside walkways were not fresh and clean smelling. I did smell some scent by the stairways. The room was very clean. I will stay there again and I will recommend to others.”

  • The location and quickness to get to store from there.
  • 3 levels stairs to climb.

  • Toilet did not flush correctly.

“Very nice lodge. Although toilet did not work properly, I was offered another room. I would like to stay there again in mid to late August.”

  • Friendly staff and it was nice to have a stove and appliances in the room.
  • The stair access to where our room was closed.

“When I arrive the staff was very friendly and help to set me up in a smoking room. I did think the room was wonderful, but when I went to walk down the stairs directly in front of my door, they were closed. Now I do understand that there was damage, but it did appear it had been like that for a while and I feel like hotels should be responsible and handle it a little bit quicker as to general maintenance and upkeep of the hotel. Because of that I had to walk to the other end of the building and then all the way back to where I parked, to access my car. But in the end, overall, my stay was pleasant and I would definitely be more than willing to stay in that facility again. Hopefully next time the stairs will be in it's proper working order.”

  • Kitchenette, friendliness of staff, location is convenient.
  • Only option of single queen bed or double twin beds.

“Good for solo business traveler. Kitchenette nice. No amenities like pool or common area kitchenette, ice machine. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.”

“Water was shut down to hotel rooms for repairs. Water pressure was still very weak after the repairs.”

  • I was upgraded to a newer hotel at another location.
  • The other hotel I was supposed to be staying did not have any serviceable rooms.

  • The price made all the difference.
  • Bathroom shower drained slow, was an older unit.

“For the budget-minded, the price is right. Other than that, this is a no-frills place to stay. A designation of a 2-star hotel with 1star rooms.”

  • Reserved the wrong date. Hotel would not give credit for the night that I needed.

  • The price of the room.
  • The room was dirty and linen was dirt staff never came.

“It was the worst stay I had so far, the hotel was dirty, the linen were dirty and there was hair in the bath tub, front desk was called they said someone would come and no one ever showed up.”

“I was staying at this hotel for business. I drove from new jersey and arrived at the hotel at about 4 am Saturday with reservations already made. I had to wake up at about 7 to go to work so I was already going to be running low on sleep. When I arrived, I went to the lobby which was closed for the night, but around the outside wall I found the after hours phone. I called and a woman told me she would call the night watchman to have me let into my room. I waited about 10 minutes then called back. The woman informed me that they were still trying to get in touch with the watchman. I waited another 10, then called back, they still had not gotten a hold of the watchman and the woman told me each time, "just give us 5 more minutes". This 5 minutes I was supposed to wait ended up turning to 30. My friend and I were waiting by my car when he saw someone peek thru the curtains in the lobby then quickly shut the lights off. I walked over to the lobby and knocked on the door but no one answered. I called the after hours line yet another time before someone finally got a hold of the night watchman and she let us into the lobby after apparently trying to hide from me. She acted like nothing had happened and we had not been waiting outside for 40 minutes. I checked in and got into my room but I had waited about 45 minutes from my arrival till I stepped into my room. I would like to be refunded for at least this one night. I do not find any reason to pay for it because of the poor treatment I received by this staff member.”

  • Convenient to shopping and highway exit/entrance.
  • Room was not really clean, grounds were dirty.

“Rooms were not really clean - cobwebs on wall/ceiling above refrigerator, hair on shower wall not mine, box spring ragged around edges and the area between the parking place and the entrance to the room was littered with debris (small things like carryout salt & pepper packets, etc.). Trash can was full outside of room.”

  • Pair of military boots left in room & now missing. $70 lost due to theft.

“Very dirty rooms with lazy hotel staff. Accidentally left a pair of military boots in room at foot of the bed. Called later that day after checking out and they said that they have not been found. Housekeeping staff stated that they found nothing. I guess they disappeared into thin air but I guess their honesty leaves a lot to be desired. I now am out a $70 pair of boots required for my job in the Navy and have to replace them due to dishonest and criminal employees. This is the last time I stay in a hotel of this caliber ever again and will make sure to let everyone I know in the Hampton Roads area of this experience. ”

  • The room was very clean and conveniently located just off the highway. Very quiet. Overall a great stay!
  • The bathtub drain didn't fit quite right.

“Overall a great stay! More than worth the money spent! I didn't expect such a nice room for the price!”
