“This is a old motel. It is need of repair. Virginia Beach expensive to stay in area, 30 minute drive to virginia beach from hotel. Don't stay here unless you get it real cheap!”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Beach was unusable because it had been taken over by fishermen and who wants to swim and step on a fish hook? Did have a nice pool however which somewhat compensated for lack of bay swimming. Overall experience here was average, not too disappointing and not to exciting.”

“This was the worst place I've ever stayed and I travel in the US and abroad. I slept with my clothes on. It was filthy dirty, your shoes stuck to the carpet. The bedding wsa dirty. The towels and washcloths were full of hairs (prior to us using). The front desk clerk was rude. When I asked for another bath towel she would only give me a hand towel. Based on the folks hanging around, I'm pretty sure this facility is used primarily as a brothel.”

“ I definitely would not stay here again. My impression is that it is not going to be a Days Inn, or at present is not. Some of the drape hooks were undone on the window and the curtain was hanging down, someone too lazy to rehook it; sometime in the distant past the bathroom had been painted and paint spilled on the floor and never cleaned up. If we were not getting in late and leaving early, I am not so sure we would have stayed. Even the restaurant next door on the grounds, which I assume went with it, had a new temporary sign on it but no customers.”

“I was very dissatisfied with my hotel room. The bathroom tub had mildew and rust stains. I had to ask for toilet tissue. The curtains had a thousand holes. Outside the room, there were hanging wires and trash scattered all over the hotel. I would not give this hotel one star. I called yesterday with my complaint.”

“Our room (carpets, windows, walls) was terribly dirty. There was a constant noise of central air conditioning system. COLD AC was on all the time even though we were freezing in the room. I could not turn the heater on. This hotel was no **-hotel.”

“First, this hotel should have been rated as an One star. The rooms plain sucked. The toilet ran every 30 seconds and the rooms were only fairly cleaned. I strongly recommend you take this hotel off your list of two star hotel and downgrade it to one star or even take it off your list altogether. Staying at this hotel definite ruin me and my family Labor Day Holiday weekend.”
