“I stayed in cleaner, nicer hotels in third world countries. The smell of smoke was so bad we had to wash our clean clothes when we returned home.”

“The Days Inn in Edgewood, MD is a good place to stay if you're looking just for a place to rest your eyes when passing by the area. It's not a hotel to enjoy or even rest comfortably at and my general feel of the hotel area seemed questionable. The motel is just old, compared to all the other ones in the area. The room I had did not smell that good but was tolerable. The bathroom was clean but the cleaning lady did not flush away all the powder cleaning stuff so we did that for her upon first use. The A/C unit worked as far as cooling the room but was not very effective against the humidity. The sheets felt damp, probably as a result of the A/C. Again, good place to stay on a budget and just to sleep but nothing about it really wants me to consider staying there again. I'd almost rather just sleep in my car.”

“Dreary, depressing old motel only acceptable as a bargain choice. Overwhelming smell of cleanser in room. Room full of printed warnings about rules and things not to do, gives overall impression low-class clientele expected. Abrupt warning phone call received the instant of check out time. No coffee maker. Cheap uncomfortable bedding, especially pillows.”

“This people staffing the front desk were somewhat friendly. The location was good for my purposes, near my work location and near restaurants. The tub looked as though it needed a serious cleaning. An ironing board and iron was not in the room. I called and asked for one and was told I could come to the front desk and pick one up. I stayed two nights.”
