  • Nice scenery.
  • No elevator, limited service from staff, felt unsafe, hard to sleep with noise.

“I would not stay here again. The walls were paper thin and I could hear my neighbor snoring all night. In addition there is a party room on the grounds and parties and receptions went late into the evening past 11 p.m. I could hear the bass from the music and noise from the guests. There is no elevator, no concierge, no shuttle and no fitness center. I carried my bags up winding flights of stairs and it became tiring during my stay to have to constantly travel the stairs during my stay. There is limited service from the staff. After 7 or 8 p.m. there is no onsite staff to assist guests and you will reach a recording if you call for assistance. This means that you cannot be connected to guests in other rooms unless you know their room numbers. If you arrive after 7 p.m., the staff leaves your room door open and a key on a table for you since no one is available. This felt very unsafe. In addition, none of the doors to the property are secured at night. Anyone can come onto the property at any hour without need for any type of access device. The accommodations are worn and obviously have been around for a long time. The bathroom tile, tub and cabinets looked to be about 30 years old. It was like a bathroom in an old motel. There is a set of wooden stairs on the side of the hotel that goes up to the third floor. There are large gaps between the stairs and there is no lighting on the staircase. The staircase ends in an unlit area surrounded by shrubs and bushes. Some areas smelled musty as if the place has suffered water damage at some point. The bedroom windows did not open but even though I would have liked to have fresh air in the room I probably would have had to shut the windows because of the loud music outside.”
