• Good location and price.
• Housekeeping was closed and we weren't able to get an extra pillow.

“It was bad. Hotels do not have to be Five Star, however, they should not be a minus five star either. The hotel was very dirty and dingy.”

• The staff was friendly.
• The rooms were not as clean as expected and the hotel needed to make upgrades and renovations.

“I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel in general. The carpet needed to be changed, the furniture in the common areas were tattered and worn. Aside from the staff, the hotel was a disappointment. I would not recommend hotels.”

• Continental breakfast was not available. Only breakfast was from a weak restaurant buffet.
• Lack of continental breakfast. No free coffee in the morning.

“Nice for the money during the summer. Close to interstate. Lack of Continental breakfast was an issue for the price. No free coffee in the mornings. Other hotels provide more. Nice indoor and outdoor pool, safe, well lit parking lot, recently renovated. Overall a nice experience. If you want to tour around the Tidewater/Williamsburg Area this hotel may save you some money without sacrificing all amenities.”

• Clean, safe and convenient to surrounding locations.
• In the restaurant the service was slow and the food sat-out too long and dried out on the evening buffet.

“Overall the hotel met most of our expectations, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was responsive and professional. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to others.”

• There promptness to serve and comfort the guest was poor as well as customer service.

“There customer service was very poor, I was put in a smoking room with a child that has asthma and breathing problems. They were not compassion nor did they offer any type of solution to the problem. They never called to check and see if everything is alright.”

• Great pool, nice conference facilities.
• Overall cleanliness (outside of rooms) was not the greatest. Hotel badly needs overall room/communal space remodeling.

“Overall, we liked it because our kids liked the pool and communal spaces quite a bit. However, I think this needs to be a 2 star hotel, not a 2.5 star. Rooms were fine and clean, thankfully, but the hotel is about 10 years behind a common spaces and room overhaul. Ok location for convenience but can be noisy since it is near the interstate. Thanks.”

• The room was quiet and the hotel was nice looking.
• 1 of our beds was caved in the middle, breakfast buffet was awful/rubbery and cold.

“We would not stay in this hotel again. We only went because the Square Dance convention was there.”

• Indoor pool and 24hr gym.
• Some of the older rooms were substandard.

“The hotel is nice in appearance and the staff for the most part is friendly. They have older rooms and never rooms. The never rooms are nice but the older rooms in building one need renovating. The was a moderate size gap in the door frame and the bathtub looked dirty.”

• Free Parking. Spacious rooms and has all the amenities you would want and expect from a Holiday Inn.
• I have nothing bad to say about this place. Favorite hotel in Hampton Roads.

“I love this Hotel. Definitely stay here if you plan to be in the Hampton Roads Area, you would not be disappointed. Has an indoor and outdoor pool. Free High speed internet for business travelers as well as a business center. Close to malls and the Hampton Coliseum.”
