• Staff was cheerful, helpful with directions and very cordial Staff was cheerful, helpful with directions and very cordial.
• The stairs going to the other floors were dim spooky and not kept well.

“Used this hotel in 2007 during the JW convention. About an hour before check in I became ill (overly fatigued). I decided to wait in the lobby until check in but the staff fixed my room so that I could go right in! Some one even called about an hour later to see if I needed anything. We used the Days Inn this year because we had to be near Fort Monroe and it was our 15th wedding anniversary. Same great hospitality same good service and great staff even though we paid much less than 2007! paying much less.”

• The hotel is close to various stores and restaurants.
• The mattresses are uncomfortable after a couple of days.

“The hotel is in an excellent location. There are various stores and restaurants all in walking distance of the hotel. The staff is very friendly.”

• It's location.
• The place was falling apart, it was loud and the staff unfriendly.

“I would never stay here again. It seemed more like a housing project than a hotel. The fixtures in the bathroom were falling off as was the tile and the people. Every time I went to the lobby, the desk staff was either arguing with someone or being just generally indifferent towards me. Very disappointing.”

• I liked the price of the hotel and the free breakfast.
• The hotel room I stayed in had a little smell to it and inside the bathroom it looked like they needed to remodel it again.

“For the price of the hotel I guess I would consider it reasonable. It could of used some fleshing up some it had a little smell to it. It smelled like smoke even though I requested a nonsmoking room. The bathroom seemed like it could use some remodeling. There were no batteries in the alarm clock provided for you beside the bed and the TV remote had no batteries. One thing that found a litter strange was the curtains that hung up around the windows I closed them but left a little peek where I could see outside my room a little and early in the morning it was loud from people coming out of their rooms and a strange man was peeping through the little space of the curtain that wasn't closed all the way. I felt a little uneasy. The up side of the whole experience was the free breakfast. I would describe the staff as being moderate in being friendly. I would give this hotel a rating of 1 star.”

• The pool.
• The rooms were not comfortable or clean.

“I was very disappointed with Days Inn. I know it wasn't very expensive, but I at least expected a clean room with everything working. The A/C stopped working the first night, the iron was broken, the mattress was extremely lumpy, and the overall room was not very clean. The free wireless internet did not even work. The front desk offered to upgrade us to a different room for the same price for the next night. The "upgraded" room was the same exact room, but this time everything worked. (minus the alarm clock that was missing). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I stay at a Days Inn.”

• Great location. Beautiful rooms. Friendly, helpful staff, knowledgeable of community for directions and eating place references.
• I didn't like being on the back side behind a concrete pillar.

“My stay would have been better if I could have been placed on the front side. Each of my stays at this Hotel has been on the back side. This night it was very noisy and lots of foot traffic.”
