• Overall condition of room was shabby and the mattress was horrible.

• Everything, it was nasty and it smelled badly.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It needs to be worked on immediately. It was very unsanitary and the microwave and fridge was very dirty.”

“I liked the refrigerator and microwave in room. In town for a convention. Location was perfect for me. Close to new convention center. Great continental breakfast.”

• Pool & George's Seafood next door

“I found this hotel while visiting my Husband at Fort Monroe Army Base. I was traveling with children & on a budget. This hotel was perfect for me since it was reasonably priced and had a nice pool for my children. We were spoiled by the seafood buffet next door at Captain George's Seafood. The staff was friendly and treated us like friends. I found the room to be clean & the hotel was close to the base. ”

• very busy, and noisy

“I stay here quite often. The hotel has been here for as long as I can remember, and you can really see the improvements that are being made. The jaquizzi room was a dream, and I can say the room was clean, the towels fluffy, and the pillows felt brand new. I will definately stay again. ”

• It was next to the Waffle House.

“I stayed there a year ago and I wished I didn't. I had to ASK for the room to be cleaned, even though I came late to the room. Half the time while I was there, the phone didn't work, the lamps were broke, and there was a big dirt spot on the curtains. The smoke detector was broke and they had the nerve to advertise and say "Mr. Clean Guaranteed." Maintenance had to come in and make repairs. The only reason why I didn't leave b/c everything else was booked. I am still trying to get a refund.”
